Is anybody having trouble with DarkTremor's Apps2SD? I cleared all data and caches then installed the zips in the correct order but apps aren't being moved to sd-ext. Titanium Backup doesn't show it in the list of partitions so is there a way to find out whether it's being mounted on boot?

Have you ran a2sd cachesdreset?

I just tried that (after typing su) and very little appeared to happen. There was no output to the terminal and it returned to the prompt almost instantly. Do you know where sd-ext should be if it mounted correctly?

It ultimately should restart the device. It's mounted to /sd-ext.

It seems it's not mounting as there is no sign of it. I've just tried repartitioning using CWM 5.0.x.x but it's still not appearing.

I tried this on my phone at the weekend. Apart from the camera issues is seemed to work flawlessly. It is really impressive work to get it working so well so quickly.

Are the remaining camera issues an upstream problem, or are they down to Crescent hardware?

Bit of both. Others who use QualcommCameraHardware and the same cameraHal suffer the same problems. Front camera hasn't even been considered by me yet. It's safely disabled in the kernel but I'll try it out experimentally tonight.

Logcat from boot would help here.

I only have CWM-based Recovery v4.0.1.5, is that bad?

Personal preference. v5 is newer, v4 is more backward compatible.

So should I get v5? How do I get it? I got version 4 when I used Amphoras' file about a month back.

There are two relevant stickied threads in this forum. One has a build of CWM v5 () and the other explains how to install CWM and is by sebastien404 ().

Build is up. As things are changing all the time regarding the camera, the build itself contains a broken camera preview. This is fixed by flashing a separate camera patch zip that I just packaged, kind of kicking myself for not testing before I had nearly finished uploading but there we go!

Everything is all working as before if you apply the camera patch. Vivacity home buttons are fixed in the ROM and the OP contains the only files you need.

Edit: Changes regarding the camera are mostly inherited from tilal's Skate repo, and this was apparently built at an unstable time regarding the camera. Unfortunate, but there we go.

Edit 2: Actually, sod it, I'll rebuild and reupload with the fixed camera. I'll keep this up for now as it does work with the patch but I'll replace it when I'm done.

Deep Sleep is working for me as well. But, suddenly it stopped to work. Reboot helped to get it working again. I do not have many applications installed and active (gmail, whether widget, calendar widget, and cpu spy). nothing was changed. Needs to understand what blocked last time. I will try to reproduce it again.

You gave a link to check which Application/Process does not release the process to deep sleep, I found nothing there. Could you just tell the application name or give a correct link?

Voice function are not working fine. Looks like they get stuck.

I will try camera ROM tomorrow.

R4a up. Just a merge of R4 and the camera patch. Everything is fine there.

Google Drive mirror up. That's everything for the night, I think! Have fun. ;)

Edit: Forgot to mention there's a new Vivacity zip. This properly patches in the hardcoded baseband version for the Vivacity. Tiny change but if you're bothered by a very minor cosmetic fix in "About phone" it's right up your street. :P

The app is Better Battery Stats - here is the link to Play https://market.android.com/details?i...erbatterystats. There is also a version on xda for members - try Googling it ;)

hi mate great rom, cheers for improving the phone. Is bluetooth working on this, or is it disabled just says turning on but never actually does,

sorry if any1's already asked this previously.

At the moment you have to have Wi-Fi on to turn Bluetooth on as they're part of the same chip. Wi-Fi seems to have overarching control over the power state of the chip. A fix is on the to-do list.
