Dalvik is on data so you're essentially deleting an empty folder.

Moreover if you're using the "wipe data/factory reset" than cache cache is wiped too.

that must be what i've been doing to "fix" it then, as i've had problems flashing with a 2mb cache, so i've been wiping it every time i flash. really starting to think 2mb is just too small.

where has that workaround come from btw? as i'd like to understand the reasoning behind it.

how is that done then, as its not in burstlam's changelog or github, so is it actually fixed or are people just not seeing it right now? as i'm not seeing it in cm9 but nothing's changed to fix it......

It appears that the problem (black screen) was indeed solved, i'm not sure.

Problem with black screen is fixed, the status bar is modified (color battery), and better battery life but I am really not on his effectiveness
