i tested beats audio today on ics AKOP and for me, it's not as good as MBB so i'm going to roll back my nandroid and re-flash this and keep it.

What if I was dumb enough to forget to make a backup and just installed this and want to delete it? Is there a way to remove it (or would installing Beats Audio replace it)?

check the files in the zip you applied. find them in the zip of the ROM you installed and make a new zip to replace them

i never use DSP .. this mod works just fine without it and the sound quality is fantastic

Flashed this on cyanmobile (CM 7.2 based)

It doesn't break the dsp manager, and the dsp manager still working as usual

the sound is truly clear, and very ear-friendly

but I feel that the original CM7 dsp manager has louder and stronger bass...

with the same dsp settings (slight dynamic range compression, moderate bass enhancement), and with my headphone, I can feel that the original CM7 has far more deeper bass

I like strong bass, so I prefer the original CM7 sound for my headphone....

I think u have to just reflash your rom. You can uptade it and try reflashing the mod, for me it work whith burgerz's build and lastest sej buils.

Shame Voodoo Sound doesn't work with the Blade. Anyway how does this compare to something like Volume+ ?

@Blade_: this mod is like Beats (but better(for me)), it modify the sound for a better music experience: a clear sound and better bass. And it will increase a bit the volume.

@eucurto: you dont need to wipe something, and if there is no change, so your rom is not compatible.

@Carbonize: this is not an equalizer, so it's hard to compare this with volume+, but you can use it too (am using this mod+DSP+poweramp equalizer :D )
