Is thers any news about official CM9 for one x?

I'd be very interested to hear where this snippet of news has come from.

XDA actually deleted their official CM9 thread because no one apart from Trip and his mates were working on it.

No reference to it on the CM forums either.

Team Oxygen is porting it also (but open-source this time)

It's a WIP, but apparently they are doing great progress.

I'm looking forward to seeing some more development on this and on the One X in general, as all the Sense ROMs are doing my head in!

I've gone back to using my Sensation for the time being as the few faults that remain are a royal PITA for everyday use.

funny thing is that when you are using your in-ear headphones to talk on the phone, the echo is gone but as soon as you unplug it, the echo comes back..it has to do with noise cancellation

I was going to ask the same thing.

Yeah :P hold power and volume down for 10 seconds, it simulates a battery pull :) no matter what's wrong with the phone, it shuts it off :)

You need at least the ramdisk

So if we want to use an alternate kernel, do we need to flash the boot.img, boot, then flash the kernel we want?

As soon as you flash another boot.img you loose all changes that are needed for CM to work correctly

No. It means you have to repackage the boot.img with zImage injection tool using ramdisk from Trip's boot.img and the kernel you choose.

All kernels on XDA are for stock sense rom. This is an AOSP based rom.

Any chance something in the kernel changes affected the latest build. Everything is running well for me but i can't enter recovery at all even reflashiing a new recovery..

Are the echo's fixed for those still having it ?

@Trip, you are speaking of no restore for the echo fixes to work. Of what type of restore are you talking about ? I don't think that restoring apps and affiliated data touches the system or config part of the rom...

Thans for your hard work :)
