Guest bladebuddy Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 As we are now getting a few roms to chose from I thought it might be useful to see which rom is faster and has the best Antutu benchmark scores. To make it all above board would you please state which rom you use and the class of you're sd card. Overclocking should be present in your results if using Antutu. This is mine but for some reason it's upside down even though it wasn't in the gallery. I am using fibblesan unbranded rom which I would like to thank him for, with fuzzras overclocking kernel, again a thanks to you also. Also using a class 10 8gb sd card. Adreno libs also implemented.
Guest raverrr Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 ROM:Fish'N'chips 7. SD card:8gig class 10 This is a cool thread to have but the title should be changed to "best antutu scores" because as a measure of performance it isn't very reliable information to go by for several reasons. One of witch being the ability to boost these scores in many ways. And even in the fairest conditions the score varies masively between tests. Example: my first score was sub 1900, so i just did it agin and got this lol.As a game its cool tho :) proud of my 2k lol

All I am trying to do is get the average score based on the rom used. Just to give a insight into the speed and general usefulness of roms available to the people using them. Also you didn't mention which rom you used and sd card. My money is on you're f&c and all you're expertise in development.

He's probably running the same FnC 7 that he released to everyone else.
Guest bladebuddy Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Also impressed with + 2000 score. Well above my work colleges Samsung galaxy tabs score.

You are having a laugh if you think another developer who is backing up another developer thinks the average person using a rom can match your scores. All I am asking was in my first post. If its a problem then I am sorry. Don't what to upset anyone.

I took CM9 R5, flashed it, flashed Google apps and A2SD, restored all my apps through Titanium Backup, overclocked and installed Antutu. I fail to see how no one else could achieve the results I just got, and I'm pretty certain the same applies to raverrr.

Hense trying to stear it more towards a game :) Ps:i did state what rom i used and sd card (at the top) PPS: I'm more of an android hobbyist i dont realy develop much lol. I'm no specialist trust me :)
Guest Dazzozo Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 What stir was it causing? What? I am so confused right now.
Guest raverrr Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 What stir was it causing? What? I am so confused right now. Not causing one :) just justifying my post that clearly apeard to be negative towards the subject. I didnt intend it to.

All I was trying to say is that a person who knows a lot about phones would be able to get the best possible results, just like a race car driver would beat the normal person around the race track. I personaly don't know how to get the best benchmark results from my phone without stating what I said in my opening post. I personally think a lot of people who read this post will be in the same boat. What I am trying to do, is to see how much faster or slower roms like Pinguys " kick ass rom" are compared to stock or cm9. Hopefully it will give a slight insight into the roms capabilities.
Guest fr0do Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 There's no upset in this thread besides the op introducing voodoo lol :D Isn't it predictable that running the test twice will produce faster results due to the device cacheing the routines?
Guest dimi89 Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 Nice results you got there but no one mentioned what tweaks you were using (like overclock CPU or other) ? I tryed to overclock CPU to Max-998MHz, Min-122MHz, Governor-smartassV2, I/O-cfq and i selected and i also selected "Set on boot " option but it wasnt stable so i just go back to default settings..... Any recommendation ?
