Guest Fabrizioso Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 If you still have the vodafone apps then you need to go into CWM recovery and format the /cust partition to clear these out. Thanks for the hint! But this will also wipe all my installed apps, won't it?
Guest Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 No your installed apps would be gone if you select data wipe/factory reset.
Guest FrownBreaker Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 A friend of min got a G300 and went from stock to the DUO ROM. The sound is quiet. I've asked him to try installing the 885 ROM and then the DUO ROM. Is there a recommended upgrade path for new phones e.g straight to DUO or go via the intermediate releases?
Guest Frankish Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 Flash official B884 OR B886 first or do the Vodafone official B885 update. Paul's rom doesn't flash the parts that the official updates do when they fix volume.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 wheres the kitchen? ur best to ask Paul that.
Guest hecatae Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 wheres the kitchen? it's a 4 day weekend here in the uk, something to do with a diamond jubilee...
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 it's a 4 day weekend here in the uk, something to do with a diamond jubilee... yeah. but i think some might refer to the fact Paul said he'd put the kitchen up a week or so ago. Personally i can understand it not being up yet. He's a busy chap, and getting a rom kitchen up isn't number 1 priority.
Guest Frankish Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 He's been too busy playing with his Orange San Diego. It's not fair he should let ME play with the San Diego.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 What exactly is the kitchen? its where u can customise the ROM to your needs. so select and de-select apps you want.
Guest SolitaryCZ Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 its where u can customise the ROM to your needs. so select and de-select apps you want. Aha, ok... thanks. So, what are we talking about here? Is it some kind of android app or extra feature, desktop utility or... ?
Guest timfimjim Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 Just a website with checkboxes and scroll lists etc where you can choose some of the apps and features in the ROM.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 after asking on Twitter if the Kitchen would be up....I'd have thought it might have been up by now :( Owwwww :(
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 he said "soon, just finishing up the san Diego review" oh well. :(
Guest dmesg Posted June 7, 2012 Report Posted June 7, 2012 Why does this rom come without toggle buttons in notification sliding screen? I know I can install CM7 buttons, but I actually prefer Huawei's original ones. Any way to restore them?
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 in the rom where abouts are the Touchpal files? *im deleting stuff before i install as the kitchen isnt up yet.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 in the rom where abouts are the Touchpal keyboard files? *im deleting stuff before i install as the kitchen isnt up yet. does anyone know?...please? :)
Guest timfimjim Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 does anyone know?...please? :) What touchpal? I don't think I have a touchpal keyboard... Have you looked in system / app?
Guest FrankieADZ Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 What touchpal? I don't think I have a touchpal keyboard... Have you looked in system / app? its that other Keyboard layout, not the standard 1. yeah ive looked thru the system/ app bit and its not there. :(
