The rom seems to be working ok,only two things I noticed so far,statusbar is there on first boot,but like atomicmod,it takes two reboots to see statusbar icons.And there is no giffgaff apns,had to put them in myself,which is cool because I have apn backup on SD card.

Just going to see if logcat works,and where is nfc settings?

you could just use the rom i posted, is just stock B888 with the mods pre-added

nah, i just added them because the huawei wallpapers are 10mb, atomicmods are only 2mb.

just posted the rom with the modds added for anyone having trouble using the resign tool

so they can release a rom with it all included :)

anyway about the status bar been blank until a reboot ?

i think i found how to fix it on my lg by mistake...

before flashing the rom edit the build.prop

change this

ro.setupwizard.mode=OPTIONAL

it boots, and works! added the giffgaff.apk and the other build.prop alteration you suggested also added remindwifi=false, will use as my daily driver rom

That is strange since i downloaded the rom to pc after reading tillaz post to mirror,then uploaded the exact same file :wacko:

Maybe one of the sites read the file size incorrect?

Confirmed,the file is same size.If you click to download from rapidshare you will see the file size matches solidfiles very close.

A little help pls people, if you don't mind...

Flashed thru cwm the mod from the first post ( http://www.solidfiles.com/d/f797f80d1e/) but status bar is missing.

Done a couple of restarts and also flashed again. Status bar has not returned, even tho other users seem to have success.

Any suggestions? I'm on the deodexed B888 by Paul

Did you flash the mod ontop of a freshly installed rom?

This will cause no statusbar,other than that I do not know as the mod in first post works fine for me and others are using it too.

Nope, wasn't freshly installed, maybe 3 days on the rom.

I have thought about grabbing the status bar apk from the B888 rom and installing as a possible fix, but I don't know if there is a separate apk for the status bar, and I've no idea if that would fix it! Not at a PC right now.

Would rather avoid installing the whole rom + mod if possible.

So you are on Gr1 rom not B888 ? If you are on B888 rom it is odexed so will not work with this mod.

I don not know what to suggest other than backing up apps and trying a clean install,reboot,then install this mod.

EDIT:

Flashed the full modded rom with CM7-style add-ons in this thread = boot loop

Battery pull and then flashed the deodexed B888 rom. It worked! So then flashed the 16mb mod. Sorted now :)
