If this works, it'll also be able to repair everyone's current bricks.

You really know your stuff ben1066, just glade we got you here, and of course rickywyatt, who really got the ball rolling again. I was losing hope in this device, but ricky never gave up, he bricked it, got another one and was right back to work, real soldier there.

Thanks, I'm fairly new to this myself, though not really new to Android in general. It's something different to the userside development I've done in the past.

If this is successful it shall be my next phone, and I hope to develop for it. It's a great deal.

You bet it is, excellent build quality, and performance as good as the flagship androids.

Hmm, once we get kernel source we will possibly be able to overclock too.

This phone overclocked would see all the competition right off !

And it would need a dedicated backpack battery addon

This device already smashes most dual cores, can you imagine an intel atom hyperthreaded 1.8 or even 2Ghz :o

They will have to rename it from hyperthreaded to hyperdrive

Ricky been offline for a while now  I hope he not run into trouble.

The old Atom N450 was 1.6GHz stock, people got it up to 2.1GHz aparently.

are there still concerns about the screen resolution ?

Are you certain you replaced the XML file? Try the other device in the flasher (if you used D1 before use D0 or vice versa).

I wonder if people are looking at things the wrong way with regards to this device, since is based on x86 wouldnt it have a BIOS like a normal PC? I really have no idea as to the hardware side of this phone, but it would seem likley.

Posted (edited)

There was talk of bios mode other day, cannot remember what topic, i look.....

Actually, ricky was it not you who was speaking about bios ? or am I mixing up.

I have a feeling what you are referring to is what we are using.
