Guest Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) We need someone who is or speaks chinese to have a chat with the guy that uploaded the flasher, he may have some answers? @rickywyatt, where did you upload the flasher, cannot see it ? Edited July 30, 2012 by Guest
Guest shootomanUK Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 morning all, im at work today on my phone so I will be having a peek every now and again lol I think maybe you need to check various parts of the chinese ics with a hex editor. But make a back up of the ics first

Guest razzmataz1478 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 mmcblk0 i think this is sdcard partition If this is true, then someone needs to get an sdcard in the back of their phone. It could be a similar method to the ZTE T-flash update.
Guest rickywyatt Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 also if i change the ifw flasher properties tab GP Flag to 0x80000061 i get a sceen come up on the phone with a usb icon and under that theres a white progress bar but thats it
Guest ben1066 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Yes, sorry, it is the sdcard. Have you got an SD card you can put in? We may also need to recreate /sbin/PartitionDisk.sh on the card. Edited July 30, 2012 by ben1066
Guest rickywyatt Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 i put a 2gb card into it still the same
Guest Davehillbo Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 Good luck, hope you find away around this.
Guest ben1066 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Right okay, issue is is that it's an oem card meaning it's damn near impossible to get any information about it. Try putting the following in a file called PartitionDisk #!/bin/sh echo testing .sh in sbin on the sdcard. Are you sure the channel is #orangesd? I'm not finding it. Edited July 30, 2012 by ben1066
Guest kabirsaini2011 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 i put a 2gb card into it still the same Sd card with firmware on it
Guest ben1066 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 Sd card with firmware on it No, that's not what it's looking for as far as I can tell.
Guest kabirsaini2011 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 Is /dev/mmcblk0 actually mounted? Nope it is not .... if it was mounted we might use sd card
Guest Davehillbo Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 Not to sound dumb, but doesnt it need to be mounted before the flasher is used? its clearly looking for something at that location.
