When Huawei gives us 2D acceleration in a ROM, sure thing, it'll work properly, and the developers will take it and make it better.

i might give this a try on my sons phone,but one point confuses me .....

NB: I advise you reboot recovery here, CWM seems a bit broken with flashes after wipes, it seems.

Reboot clockworkmod recovery. Basically it can freeze at certain times.

The only time I have seen it freeze is after flashing the rom, it can get stuck on the boot screen. A battery pull is required then the rom boots normally

I have big problems with CWM at my device... It's freezing all the time, than I have to burn ROM via fastboot :(

Now, i flashed TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) and it works OK.

OK, I am very lost.

I'm trying to flash this to my phone, I have a u8815

I enabled the recovery using this thing : http://i.imgur.com/M3aOD.png (I know it's not for the u8815 but I couldn't find one that was)

Got to the recovery menu and hit install from SD.

I get "E.signature verification failed"

So I read on about the issue, figure out that I need to flash CWM recovery. To do this I need to be root.

So I try the root button on that app, no good

then I try this: http://www.modaco.co...-mac-and-linux/

But no good. - are there setting i'm missing? debug mode? usb needs to be active? what?

Can't flash CWM recovery and what's more, the CWM recovery promts me with what phone I have, and doesn't have the 8815.

I look for '8815 cwm' and found this: http://www.modaco.co...15ascend-g-300/

But have no idea how to use this.

What am I doing wrong? Can I get some slightly more detailed instructions please?

Aren't you trying to flash this over some GB ROM (b8xx)? The tool you were trying to use is meant for ICS rooting.

This is real good, ics works really well on this phone.

hardware accelerated ui = no (same as every other rom)

I would rather no mirrors as I track which downloads are most popular and there's a pretty high chance that third party mirrors won't have the files updated when a new build is out - I don't want people reporting bugs that are fixed, etc. But hey, why not.

MD5s don't really have a purpose though, zips have integrity checking.

hi dazzozo im just back from visting the xda forum from the samsung galaxy w forum and they have a camera fix .will it help you.i can confirm it does work on my samsung galaxy w using cm9 .

would try it on your cm9 but am happy to wait
