Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 For those with SU probs, flash this one: http://db.tt/lANUFPqA Paul, I'm having troubles with Wallet. Included it in my custom bake and it shows in \system\app but not in my app list. Downloaded your new patched version and replaced using Root Explorer but still doesn't show? It seems to be hidden for us UK users. Try doing 'adb shell pm enable com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel' or seeing if it is 'diabled' in Settings -> Apps? P

In work/training so no adb, but worked perfectly in Terminal so sorted! Thanks mate! Edited June 29, 2012 by CaspaTheGhost
Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Just a heads up that I investigated the Apex Launcher issue and it needs some re-working by the dev for JB, hence i've removed it from the kitchen for now! Nova is OK tho. P
Guest rubenGN Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Just a short question: Did the kitchen update include the Messenger fix, or did I get this wrong? Cause Messenger is still not working, after my new bake.
Guest Handymeister Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Hi Paul, is it possible to get a function for "power on with volume keys" in a later build? Thanks for your great work! Handymeister
Guest asaxby Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 I can't get Google Now to work, I launch it and it opens the app with the little mountain motif, but doesn't show any cards and then just takes me to a plain screen with a search bar. Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? I have tried wiping and reflashing, but can't seem to get it to work.

It picked up my location first time so did you enable Google to access your location etc in the setup? GPS on?

Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Google+ Messenger issues is fixed in the kitchen, prebake to be updated later today! P
Guest drewstiff Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Hmmm.... regardless of whether I install over previous MCR, or whether I wipe first, my phone sticks on the "Google" padlock screen and doesn't even get to the boot animation. If I check ADB logcat I get the following loop: I/Netd (23292): Netd 1.0 starting I/Netd (23298): Netd 1.0 starting E/BandwidthController(23298): runIptablesCmd(): failed /system/bin/iptables -t r aw -N bw_raw_PREROUTING res=256 E/BandwidthController(23298): runIptablesCmd(): failed /system/bin/ip6tables -t raw -N bw_raw_PREROUTING res=256 D/MDnsDS (23298): MDnsSdListener::Hander starting up D/MDnsDS (23298): MDnsSdListener starting to monitor D/MDnsDS (23298): Going to poll with pollCount 1 I/Netd (23422): Netd 1.0 starting I/Netd (23428): Netd 1.0 starting E/BandwidthController(23428): runIptablesCmd(): failed /system/bin/iptables -t r aw -N bw_raw_PREROUTING res=256 E/BandwidthController(23428): runIptablesCmd(): failed /system/bin/ip6tables -t raw -N bw_raw_PREROUTING res=256 D/MDnsDS (23428): MDnsSdListener::Hander starting up D/MDnsDS (23428): MDnsSdListener starting to monitor D/MDnsDS (23428): Going to poll with pollCount 1 etc. etc. Any idea what going wrong? Going to re-download but the md5 hash matches up so not sure how that could be the problem. Anyone know what would cause iptables to fail like that?
Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 And that's the only thing in logcat? Very weird. Permissions maybe, but if the install went through it should be fine. :/ Custom bake? Tried the prebake? P

Tried the prebake? P Well that's the point at which it is stuck; there was probably more before that but I thought that would be the relevant bit. Currently re-downloading and if I have problems with that I'll try the pre-bake, thanks.
Guest drewstiff Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Same thing on 2nd download but got the beginning of the logcat this time: - waiting for device - --------- beginning of /dev/log/main I/busybox ( 115): mount: mounting /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name /userdata on /data failed: Invalid argument I/busybox ( 115): mount: mounting /dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name /system on /system failed: Invalid argument I/busybox ( 115): run-parts: /system/etc/init.d/98mounts exited with code 255 I/logwrapper( 115): /system/xbin/busybox terminated by exit(1) I/DEBUG ( 160): debuggerd: Jun 26 2012 01:02:33 --------- beginning of /dev/log/system I/Vold ( 155): Vold 2.1 (the revenge) firing up E/Vold ( 155): Error reading configuration (No such file or directory)... co ntinuing anyways E/IMGSRV ( 156): :0: SetupuKernel : EDM status value DevVAddr: 0x0F004000 pvLi nAddrKM: 0xC89B1000 I/Netd ( 159): Netd 1.0 starting D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: START CP BOOT I/Netd ( 203): Netd 1.0 starting D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: CP POWER ON DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] mipi_xmit_atat: SENT ATAT 0 I/Netd ( 228): Netd 1.0 starting D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] mipi_xmit_atat: SENT ATAT 1 D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: XIMT PSI DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: XIMT EBL DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: SET EBL DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: REQSECSTART CMD DONE D/MDnsDS ( 228): MDnsSdListener::Hander starting up D/MDnsDS ( 228): MDnsSdListener starting to monitor D/MDnsDS ( 228): Going to poll with pollCount 1 D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: XMIT MODEM_MAIN DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: XMIT MODEM_NV DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: READ MPS DATA DONE : XEU D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: SEND MPS DONE : XEU(0x61080000) D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: REQSECEND CMD DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] __boot_6260: REQFORCEHWRESET CMD DONE D/ ( 161): [CP BOOT] boot_6260_mipi: CP FLASHLESS ALL DONE I/Netd ( 369): Netd 1.0 starting I/Netd ( 375): Netd 1.0 starting ...then carries on as before. Seems to be unable to mount data, system etc. for some reason? I tried fix permissions, no difference. Just about to try pre-bake. It's wierd as I can restore a Nandroid and that'll work fine. I'm not sure how, but could it be anything to do with me having tried the non-MCR Jelly Bean ROM before this? Wouldn't make much sense but thought it was worth mentioning.
Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 Very strange... which bootloader / radio are you on? P
Guest drewstiff Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) Very strange... which bootloader / radio are you on? Guest devilishone Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 I'm having a problem with Titanium backup. When I flashed JR1 over IR14 I was told after load that Titanium stopped working. When I tried to load it FCd on me, I tried wiping data and that didn't fix, so I thought that maybe somehow the apk had corrupted in update (I assumed that titanium was in the initial prebake) so I uninstalled it and then tried to install from market. Every time it downloads, starts to install and then stops due to "insufficient storage" which is clearly bananas since my phone has around 9gig free on storage (and lots free on the rom). Anyone else suffering this issue? I'm going to flash the newest prebake since its been updated a bit and see if that helps.
Guest munkiii Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) I have just noticed that i am not getting a mobile network internet connection at all using this rom. I came from Ir14, did a full wipe, flashed Jr1, and flashed every update until the newest now, and just can't get a mobile network internet connection. Settings are correct with mobile data on. At first i stuck with my XXKK6 because i've always had good signal quality using that, but with JB i get no data connection. So now i've baked a new rom using the new XXLF1, but still no data connection. Stuck. EDIT: I think it could be a JuiceDefender problem. Trying to find out now (simply disabling JuiceDefender isn't changing anything). Edited June 29, 2012 by munkiii
Guest rubenGN Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 @Paul Messenger FC problem is fixed. Thanks!
Guest PaulOBrien Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 munkii, checked your APN settings? devilishone, try formatting cache from recovery. P

Edit2: ...and we're in. I have no ferkin idea what went on there but seems to be working with the pre-bake! For future reference in case there is an issue there, if I apply the pre-bake over my previous MCR ICS, it runs but I get SystemUI forceclose and no nav buttons or status bar. If I try to install my custom bake over the pre-bake I then go to the iptables/non-booting problem again. The only strange setting I can think of is maybe having a normal nav bar with menu on right always available. Has anyone successfully flashed with those same nav bar settings?
Guest munkiii Posted June 29, 2012 Report Posted June 29, 2012 munkii, checked your APN settings? devilishone, try formatting cache from recovery. P DOH! That's the only thing i hadn't checked, i just assumed they would be right. Totally forgot that my full wipe will have cleared them. Long time since i did a full data/cache wipe.
