Hello, yes I wiped everything.

I went back today to do a complete wipe and installed it again and keep up the problem.

what version of the recovery cmd is that you use??

I'm not an expert but I think your nand chip is corrupted because all bad blocks are from it. You can try to restore FTM mode and use official TMN software to restore the rom, then you can flash CWM again. But if I were you I wait a little bit for more opinions before restore FTM mode and install the original tmn software.

I agree with @lfernandes ... You should have the nand with errors...

I also had that problem with /sd-ext ... wouldn't format..

What I did to fix that, it was backup SDcard, and complete delete all partitions. Next I used CWM to create the partitions and restored (copied) the backup I had made from SD.

I'm using photom_cwm_fastboot_racer

Hello all here the link for anable the swap on sd-ext

http://www.taringa.n...n-Mod-7_10.html

I installed it and worked well fine

to install must be done manually with explorer root and must give the permissions as in the pics

one more thing in file 06mountsd must rename it to 05mountsd

hey.... equiliym . ur rom is best, but

just problem having. serious, 3d hd new games. not work, I think egl problem, and just in touch problem, and phone apk, showing big icons, and plz, enable multi touch support in nexrt release, for better gamec experience .....

thanks for support green.. racer isnt really suited up for 3d hd games so i cant help you much.. i can make you a flashable zip with other/older egl drivers if you want to experiment which ones work best for you..

for phone.apk, i know it shows bigger icons, it goes retarded when i convert it to mdpi sadly, images get broken, you can see example other users had so i dont think ill mess with that any time now, too much work to fix it every week for new release :(

and as for multitouch, you should install deadlinks kernel since its a kernel based feature, deadlink made that hack in his kernel while vamshi didnt want to do it, that might give you better experiance in gaming :)

hope these help

@pass25 i know, ive been busy these days and next release is due for tomorrow so ill just wait one more day for a newer one

@sack3 you dont need sd speed tweak, i already included it for best sd read performance set to 4096 p; im checking that script now to see if it can be autostarted but im not sure whats with those apps from market @_@

edit: also, regarding to swap, have you tried this method? you can make swap file on sdcard with terminal emulator and use swapon/swapoff commands for it.. here is an example of how to make it on sdcard:

su

dd if=/dev/zero of=/sdcard/swap.file bs=1024 count=102400

mkswap /sdcard/swap.file

you use this code to create swap file on sdcard of size 100mb, you can use any size regarding of your sdcard size (ie 100*1024=102400, 256*1024=262144 etc) after that you use swapon and swapoff to turn on/off your swap:

swapon /sdcard/swap.file

swapoff /sdcard/swap.file

you can also make it on /sd-ext if you have it partitioned, doesnt really matter i guess.. unless you mount the whole /sd-ext as swap which is somewhat better imho but app2sd uses /sd-ext so i guess going with swap file is better in this way.. try it, might work without 3rd party apps/scripts do note that swap can drain your battery faster edit2: ok here is example from my cmd how i activated it via adb from windows

C:\Workfolder\apktool>adb shell

can you tell me what cm7-2.3.x rom did you use to play 3D HD games? if you give me a rom where it worked ill take those egl drivers i guess

i cant use egl drivers from 2.2 on 2.3.. and since we have no source on egl drivers and all using prebuilt ones from unknown sources i suggest you try some of racerboys 2.3 roms, maybe he is using different egl from the ones i use..

ARMv6=ARM11, ARM Cortex-M, its the same thing

and yeah all cm7 egl drivers are pretty much prebuilt so i guess there cant be no changes :(

Hi,

I'm using a old swap file I had and since last version activate that way.

What I don't know how to do is, activate automatically on boot ( I guess something have to wait to sdcard be mounted before activate) and use a partition instead of a file.

I also see the battery drains much faster since I activate swap.. with the last rom (120715) before use swap my phone last 2 or even 3 days, and now with swap it's for a one day only (thing that don't upset me ... I do not mind having to recharge every day)

yeah, when you boot your phone it first loads internal partitions and all and when android starts it must first mount sdcard and init.d scripts runs before bootlogo so thats messing up.. i also prefer to use partition instead of file but it still doesnt load at start.. i kind of like it that way, i only swapon when needed, i use v6 script with optimal performance so my phone doesnt lag, swap is last resort..

im downloading geno's rom to see his conf for custom script for swap and sdext since i used it from lewa rom and in lewa rom there is no conf file lol..

edit: not gonna use this script -.-'

hello,

Lewa the roms are not based on CM7?

if they say the games run spectacular, perhaps copying the files from the egl Lewa and adapting to our solve the problem ... I do not know.

what is swap?

its somewhat of a virtual memory.. you need to format your sdcard in recovery to make /sd-ext and then you can activate swap via terminal, make it at least 128mb for 100mb swap file and random data

for phone.apk, i know it shows bigger icons, it goes retarded when i convert it to mdpi sadly, images get broken, you can see example other users had so i dont think ill mess with that any time now, too much work to fix it every week for new release :(

and as for multitouch, you should install deadlinks kernel since its a kernel based feature, deadlink made that hack in his kernel while vamshi didnt want to do it, that might give you better experiance in gaming :)

hope these help

# su

# free -m

			 total used free shared buffers

Mem: 166408 162596 3812 0 56

-/+ buffers: 162540 3868

Swap: 0 0 0

# cd /sd-ext

# ls

# dd if=/dev/zero of=/sd-ext/swap.file bs=1024 count=102400

102400+0 records in

102400+0 records out

104857600 bytes transferred in 37.626 secs (2786838 bytes/sec)

# mkswap /sd-ext/swap.file

Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 104853504 bytes

# swapon /sd-ext/swap.file

# free -m

			 total used free shared buffers

Mem: 166408 163072 3336 0 1752

-/+ buffers: 161320 5088

Swap: 101136 536 100600

# ls -la /sd-ext/swap.file

--w--w----	1 root root 104857600 Jul 28 15:04 /sd-ext/swap.file

#

before we activated swap:

Swap: 0 0 0

after we activated swap:

Swap: 101136 536 100600

so swap works without 3rd party apps/scripts

usb works fine completely.. not sure if you need to do swapon again after mounting sdcard to pc tho.. like i said i use it only when i need it because it drains battery faster that way.. as for that other tutorial, it can rewrite some settings if you tried it.. didnt really manage to test it fully since i didnt understand but didnt work for me either so i dunno lol
