Guest hugobosslives Posted July 1, 2012 Report Share Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) study [read: google lots :D ] I can't stress this enough. all the info is out there. you need to read it. few other things that might help: set up linux on your computer and learn to use it properly and get familar with it. learn how to control a computer from the command prompt. lots of people just write commands that they don't understand. get familiar with it and you will be rewarded. learn the parts that make up a linux os. eg /bin is user binaries. /boot is the boot files and some kernel stuff. /lost+found (or simular} logs for crashes and the files that crashed. /mnt your mount points. /proc kernel and system files. i could go on..... learn how apks work. i.e xmls, compiling, decompiling, signing etc learn how themes work (even if you don't care about colours, its good to learn the structure of apps and how to mod them] set up a build environment and follow guides on building a rom (eg cm9] i could go on. this is not a definitive guide. just a few pointers to get you started.
