Guest yayakuya Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) someone please help.... when i change updater-script build by dsixda kitchen, it's always give me aborted installation (0)....??? i try to port cm7 from another device, when i add lines for set_perm using note pad++ or word pad. it's look like rejected by cwm recovery. if someone could tell me, i will make it asap... how about you Hecatae? what programs you use for make the META-INF folder with updater-script instead??? thanks in advance.... --edit-- [solved] i was found it on Google that i have to change the update binary with a new one that working on my phone. anyway, could you guys suggest me what kitchen i have to work for this stuff? coz I'm using old kitchen from my sgs2 and it's seems use MTD partitions. not for our phone that use EMMC partitions to formatted... thanks again annd sorry for wasting times :) Edited January 7, 2013 by yayakuya

Guest yayakuya Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Hi guys, i've trying to port CM7 from p350 last night. and now it can past the logo and goes to bootanims. but couldn't get into home screen, yeaa bootloop :( i think something wrong with framework-res (my guess) i can't make a logcat via adb, it's just stuck on -waiting device- help, what should i do? maybe you can help me Hecatae??? thanks in advance, i think we can get CM7 running on L3 for a few days :D

Because you really want it I'll build a device folder and compile for you. I'm also going to get the l3.its dirt cheap here. Still recommend you fix up cm9 and make cm10 though

Guest antdking Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Yes it does support cm7, three msm7227a devs have confirmed this. hey can you reply to my message please? btw I wouldn't recommend using the cyanogenmod kernel on your cm7. it's had major edits from the 3.0 kernel so can cause problems. best to keep it pure and only use stock kernel
Guest antdking Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 uploading my cm7.2 files made so far: http://www.multiuplo...o.uk/RJYKS2YY0E drop the e400 folder in /devices/lge cyanogen_e400.mk in /vendor/cyanogen/products and vendor if needed. builds, may need some fixing though. on github https://github.com/hecatae/e400 updated today, may need some more files wait what?? is the first link your device folder? of course it won't boot. half the files that should be there aren't. there are loads of files not set to build that should be building. there aren't any device secific sources there which should be, because cm7 doesn't natively support msm7x2xA devices you haven't defined the board platform the arch_variant isn't correct I'm going to need the whole system of stock gb uploading please so I can redo the device folder.
