you stated that you were going to release a CM9 build a few weeks back but didn't because you essentially think we didn't deserve it due to a few inpatient people, I completely understand that but I just don't think it's fair to let other people suffer because of it.

Really? Suffer? TBH I have considered everything past the debranded ROMS and CM7 a bonus. You can ask for a feature or an update to be made, but ultimately it's someone's free time that has to go into making that happen, so don't badger them. I have donated to Dazzozo previously for his work on CM9 and CM7, which was fantastic and if he's moved onto something else, oh well. We shouldn't have had any expectation that someone would get it to this point anyway.

created a new dir and did repo init with cyanogenmod jellybean

copied .repo/manifests and .repo/manifests.git to original dir

deleted all files/dirs except .repo and synced again

did a get-prebuilts , . build/env-setup

ran brunch blade2

and got this error.

You had no need to delete the repo. WebKit doesn't exist in CFX anymore.

I deleted the .repo/manifests and switched to CM

then tried local_manifest.xml like this :

And that produces the error above where it's compiling the kernel?

including vendor/cm/vendorsetup.sh

If you can build new omx files from source, can you give us the donwload link for test please ? :)

That is, if I can :(

I think I can do it, syncing the repos and building has posed no Problem for me in the last dayd

how do i test whether the OMX libs are working or not (preferably not something that needs an internet connection)

Posted

Put a "HQ" video file on the Sd card and have a file manager installed, open the videofile and judge by the smoothness or the logcat if it uses OMX
