Guest dt_matthews Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 i wish i had! but no you've explicitly turned Contact sync off?? (why?)
Guest prosist Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 you've explicitly turned Contact sync off?? (why?) man, I am not sure what were the reasons. be sure I am regretting it. anyway, the problem now is that I have the contacts backed up but titanium screws up my installation... so any ideas? is there any other backup app able to read the same DB as created by titanium?
Guest droiddruid Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) flash a stock rom. restore from titanium. backup using hisuite/allbackup/switch contact sync on whatever. Reflash infusion. Restore from hisuite/allbackup/resync whatever. Job done. Edited September 19, 2012 by droiddruid
Guest jgbyr Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 I have a problem with call id, when I receive a call, I can view only the number, but I have this number in my phonebook. After that when I open my dialer, there the I view numer with the name. I'm getting this also.Had it with the last version too.The name does come up after the phone rings for a while. Also any barcode app that I tried crashes when I try to open them. Will normally work though after a few attempts.

Job done. yep, that would be a solution, thanks. but isn't it risky to flash/reflash/triflash the ROM? in the case I do that, do you recommend following the stock instructions or using clockwork recovery? Just flash one of the numerous ICS repacks floating around on the forum via CWM.
Guest fjpalacios Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) Hello: Since I've flashed this rom doesn't recognize my device in "My Devices" on the website of Google Play. Is this normal? Would the same thing happen to anyone else? Is there any way to fix it? To search for any app, or discover new, is much more comfortable via web. Thank you! It took a long time, but finally appeared. Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you very much. :) Edited September 19, 2012 by fjpalacios

Guest feckineejit Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 what does formate/system do? I believe it wipes the system like formatting a computer or formatting a sd card etc
Guest tillaz Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Works. Checked with huawei file browser and they have swapped. Did it with root explorer on the phone by copying-renaming then pasting back to system etc. Rebooted and all working ok. so, to be clear, you swapped the names of internal_sd.fstab and external_sd.fstab and all worked fine ? is usb connection working ? thanks for trying it :) =================== ABOUT THIS =================== anyone tried deleting this "external_sd.fstab" after doing the above? so only the SDcard is displayed
Guest Higgy69 Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 jgbyr & kirilmanika - Regarding caller ID, I just had a call and their name appeared on my phone (running B05). Also on Bar Codes, I tried Shop Savvy and that worked fine. Not tried Googles on B05 but it was working ok on B04.
Guest wso277 Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Had two more reboots today tillaz. Didnt had them in any of the previous versions.
Guest Pain_Deluxe Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Something goes wrong since B03 :/. luckly i have b3 on my hdd. Maybe i go back to that.
Guest Frankish Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 No problems with B04 never a reboot.
Guest buddn07 Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Had two more reboots today tillaz. Didnt had them in any of the previous versions. What Kernel are you using? I found that overclocking to 1300MHz I had a number of reboots. Changing to 1228MHz made the rom far more stable.
Guest RannyDoscoe Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Wild question, were you close to train lines? On cm10 people seem to have reboots near train lines. I had two yesterday, but could be due to overclock. Wow, weird. Had a reboot when I walked over a tram line in Manchester yesterday...
Guest mack_ Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 yep, that would be a solution, thanks. but isn't it risky to flash/reflash/triflash the ROM? in the case I do that, do you recommend following the stock instructions or using clockwork recovery? flash a repack

Allthough it's ok for me having the internal storage still available as with the default storage being set to internal (sd card when files are switched) it always stays this way after a reboot. So no more probs with it switching. Edited September 19, 2012 by Redflake

Changing to 1228MHz made the rom far more stable. I'm using omegamoon but had it stable before at the same speeds and governor. Gonna lower it down a bit more and see how it goes.
Guest tillaz Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Just tried and strangely it makes no differerence as the internal storage still shows up and is accessible from the file manager? think it might need to be done in the rom, then flashing it with a full wipe to take effect

Guest popoyaya Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Mine started making a strange "wooo wooo" sound, emanating an unearthly green glow and levitating out of my hand as I crossed a ley line in Leyton today. I thibk it's a bug in the ICS code.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 only problem i seem to get with the rom atm...is coming out of some apps the launcher is slow to reappear.
