Guest djalpha Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 I have to say: FANTASTIC ROM!!! The app drawer is very smooth, but I personally think that the homescreens got slower
Guest ukimann Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Thanks for a great rom but I'm a bit confused. With the newest update, the phone sees the internal storage as SD card and it's set to default. There is no option to change that anymore.
Guest gsf600y Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) My internal storage is 2GB, and SD card is my 16GB SD card. I did c**p myself a bit though as I just wiped the SD card using recovery and it seemed to take ages....thought I'd just wiped everything out :D All good though. My update process was: 1 - Wipe data/factory reset 2 - format system 3 - wipe dalvik cache 4 - wipe battery stats 5 - install B06 zip 6 - boot it up 7 - wiped SD card. 8 - booted up again. Now to see about removing that pesky Youtube app... Can anyone recommend a root uninstaller? Can't get Titanium working - it complains it can't get root permissions, but I've set it to be Trusted in the system menu. EDIT: Tillaz, do you want to add my torrent link to your first post, in addition to your upload? Edited September 25, 2012 by gsf600y
Guest Redflake Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Mine shows internal as 2gb and is installing app data to the internal storage and not the sd card.
Guest tillaz Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Maybe being a bit thick but storage is stuck on internel and can't see how to change it. No option in settings/storage to set default storage. yes, i ask for people to conform if it was fixed or not as it works fine for me, give me a second will up load a patch
Guest Dellboy2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Didn't see tillaz's post. Edited September 25, 2012 by Dellboy2012

You need to activate super user in the settings first, then use TB.
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) ok if you storage is set to internal try flashing this straight after installing the rom (full wipe sorry ) patch.zip if not don't worry, i have something that will fix it but would prefer this way to work lol so i have to reflash and do a full wipe now for this to work? also have just noticed you have got rid of the annoying connected as installer message in notification bar when plugged in thanks :D Edited September 25, 2012 by andy.hyde4
Guest gsf600y Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 So when apps are installed, they should be storing data on SD card by default? App I've just installed says "SD card 0.00B", so I assume that means it isn't working for me. I'll apply patch and try again.
Guest tillaz Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Patch before reboot? yes so i have to reflash and do a full wipe now for this to work? also have just noticed you have got rid of the annoying connected as installer message in notification bar when plugged in thanks yes, full wipe, install rom, then without a reboot flash the patch, if you have already set up you phone, make a nandroid back up first so if it dose not work you can restore,
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 yes, full wipe, install rom, then without a reboot flash the patch, if you have already set up you phone, make a nandroid back up first so if it dose not work you can restore, its not really a problem as all i have done is signed into google

Still stuck on internal.
Guest tillaz Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 so if the first patch did not work this defiantly should just flash and reboot, no wipe required for this patch storage-fix.zip it will display as internal but if you look at the size it should be the sdcard

Guest gsf600y Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Done, wiped etc, b06 zip installed, patch zip installed, rebooted. Did Google setup (which defaulted to UK instead of US for some reason this time). Installed Titanium again. It says: Total 6.97MB. SD card 0.00B EDIT: Ah, will try 2nd one now..... Guest tillaz Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Ok (what could possibly go wong) lol this has already been confirmed to work i just would of rather done it a different way as it says internal, rather than sdcard
Guest tillaz Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Just for reference I have been running this setup re fstab files for a while and it works a treat. yeah, its the same thing i done for the o2x a while ago, but it broke the usb connection (that was gingerbread though) so never really though about doing it again
Guest Dellboy2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Sorry mate but it don't work. Still stuck on internal. Same here. Edit: all sorted with second zip. Now my external SD is shown as internal. But as I saw you managed to set data memory (756MB) as internal memory, which I suppose means that your data memory is 2GB. Am I right? How to do that? Can you explain situation about memory, please? Anyway, thanks for this great ROM. This is the first time I installed custom ROM instead of stock ones, 'cause I had the feeling it is great, and I wasn't wrong. It blows all others away by mile. Guest gsf600y Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Ah, I see. Oh well, it's having desired effect :) Good stuff. EDIT: Although it does say Internal storage 80MB used, 676MB free in "Apps" menu, despite reporting 16GB Internal storage in "Storage" menu. Edited September 25, 2012 by gsf600y
