Nice work Dan Nedan on finding that 940 contacts works. Maybe tillaz is looking at adding it to the new upload? fingers crossed.

actually i fixed this, for me, in this waY:

- in bo6 zip: deleted contacts.app contact provider.app, and replaced them with contacts.app contactprovider.app and ContactsExt.apk from ikb. (no matter ikb or other 940);

- reflashed again bo6 in cwm, but without any wipe.

- reboot.

contacts work fine.

I noticed that my free ram decreases to below 10Mb with this rom and when this happens my launcher is restarted by the os. This does not happen with another rom around here SamsungIII. With this one I have plenty of ram free and also the processes are cached ok... Also with this rom I'm encountering delays in seeing the name of the caller (it's instant in SamsungIII rom). I think these are bugs in B934. I do not know what SamsungIII rom is based though ...

Yeah mines similar, any rom before b936 is like this for me. Starts nice and speedy but the available ram decreases over time. Free ram is wasted ram and android should free the memory when it's needed by killing lower priority processes. However something isn't quite right. By the time it's had around 24h+ of uptime and closing all apps, services like the launcher, maps etc are being shuffled in and out of memory - the same services that are running perfectly fine after a reboot. If you go into running apps loads of those are being restarted.

A lot of folks have alsorts of different problem with this phone and I've heard many with great uptimes so I could be in the minority

Hey guys, i don't know if my problem is with this rom or if its just ICS, but when i install an app it always install to int. storage and it won't let me move it to my Sd card, with any other rom it lets move apps fine the Sd card shows up in storage with 1gb available but this with this rom i cant move apps, even tried apps 2 sd and its says there is a problem with the sd card storage

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Whenever i try on link2sd it says it fails, even though there's nearly 2gb free, really annoying me now since i cant install anymore apps

this problem people speek of about RAM is weird... i will upload screenshot from one of the phones i test on

at 22 hours uptime it still has 109mb free ram (and that's with 20+ apps installed)

this is a result of flashing the sdcard fix, im going to remove it

i found out what was causing this fc,

after replacing all the contacts apks with the B940 one

and still getting this, i removed the chrome bookmark sync adapter and the error stopped.

this is a strange one as no one was getting this problem, and i actually use chrome book mark sync without problems :huh:

From what I seen, these are the major/minor bugs that i encounter. Hope it contributes for a better update:

1) Unstable Battery Life: The battery go fast down to 51% and then it becomes down slower. I used B05 and the battery in that rom was much more stable.

2) DSPManager crash when I turn on Bluetooth;

3) Unable to swamp apps between SD cards/Internal memory/

4) I only got contacts on Google. Contact app crash when i try to access to SIM card;

EDIT: By the way I can't manage to copy my contacts from Google Contacts to SIM CARD.

Yep, mine is doing the same thing... and the caller id takes a while to display the name, only number of incoming caller appears, really annoying.

That's pretty good, very different to mine. Mines around 130mb on a fresh boot and falls to around 60mb within a couple of hours. It stays pretty quick still, but over time a day - day and a half it starts to bog down until all apps are swapping in and out of memory including the launcher which reloads every time I go back to it. I don't actually have much installed either, in fact all I have is: whatsapp, chrome, mx player, amazon kindle, scummvm, mayhem, setcpu and y5 batter saver. Out of these 3 have services, setcpu, whatsapp and y5 and they use ~15mb of ram between them so not much and the rest of the apps are usually run individually in that I don't have them running at the same time as I get into the habit of closing them down, certainly for the games.
