Guest JHsaucy Posted September 30, 2012 Report Posted September 30, 2012 Keep up the good work mate :) brilliant rom even with a few bugs
Guest Ludak021 Posted September 30, 2012 Report Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) Hi! I wish to say that ROM is great and I enjoy it much more over official ICS ROM. My only complaints are: 1. Phone now uses internal SD for almost everything, including DCIM (photos) and I cannot change that (I am far far away from knowing enough about linux and android to change anything :S ). I was hoping this ROM will fix the issue with SD cards (no move to SD button in app amanger, or in any other app with official rom or this rom) but it seems it only made it worse?! 2. I wanted to uninstall screen lock app since default ICS is just fine for me but I ended up messing the app altogether bu stoping, cleaning it's cache. Now, even after reboot I cannot start it at all and system settings crash if I try to go to "lock screen" options. Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling the whole ROM? 3. My Files app > FTP > start - does not work, it seems the app is trying to make a connection but imediatley stops and resets the button to start state. Funny thing with this app - it cannot acces the external sd card (/sdcard2) due to to this mess with SD cards configurations :S anyway, great job, keep it up :) We'll get there eventually :) Edited October 1, 2012 by Ludak021
Guest U2_Neat Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 great work, thanks for all the effort and time. I tried changing the status bar colors with rom toolbox but no luck, am i right in assuming the rom needs to be de-odexed for this to work? If so, any chance of getting a de-odexed version as well, or is that too much of a hassle?
Guest brunolopes446 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Tillaz, why don't you provide an option to disable the shutter sound from camera? Also, you could make available an option to do a small overclock from stock 1Ghz to 1.1 or 1.2Ghz, which are stable frequencies Thank you.

Firstly you can just edit the build.prop Secondly if you flash anybody o/c kernel you can control the frequencies yourself.
Guest Higgy69 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Forum Member Potatoes put this up: How to remove the sound from camera? 1. open "My Files" > "Settings" 2. enable "Root Explorer" 3. enable "Mount file system" (be careful since you are now able to delete system critical files!) 4. exit settings and jump to "system" 5. go to media/audio/ui 6. tick "camera_click.ogg" and rename to "camera_click.ogg.bak" 7. disable "Mount file system" in the settings. To revert, rename "camera_click.ogg.bak" back to "camera_click.ogg" NOTE: You can download from Google Play - ES Explorer and do the same thing if you don't like 'My Files'
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Any chance of in the next release can you add either MiUi or Jelly Bean app transitions? or would it be too much of a pain?
Guest dan nedan Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 any hint about screen rotation? nevertheless auto-rotation screen is ticked, the screen doesn't want to rotate.

Guest andy.hyde4 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 No I meant when changing between apps it like swipes across the screen? Not in the launcher.
Guest tillaz Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 No I meant when changing between apps it like swipes across the screen? Not in the launcher. give it a try, it is for opening apps etc. not just the launcher try the slide option.
Guest andy.hyde4 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 I stand corrected ;) but it only works going from the launcher or to the launcher.

Guest palec69 Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 Little problem.... I bought nova launcher prime but I have this problem at the moment... Any idea how to fix this? have the same thing after reboot, works again if you reinstall the launcher, the only thing is you have to do it after every reboot <_<
Guest tillaz Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 have the same thing after reboot, works again if you reinstall the launcher, the only thing is you have to do it after every reboot the latest version of nova launcher uses a lot of code from the stock JB launcher, if some one could grab a log we might be to see what is happening
