Guest BigEric Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Newb alert again... Having aplied the two patches mentioned I now have the internal/SD card setting available again and it's persistent. The weird thing is that the system reports that my SD card has a total of 2gb of storage and the internal storage a total of 4gb. This is surely backasswards...? Does anyone else see this? E
Guest BigEric Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) the only thing is you cant move apps to the sdcard, that's why i removed it from first page, Tillaz, For what it's worth, I can definitely move apps to the SD card after applying the two patches, although the system is inverting Internal and SD card when reporting what space is available... E weird, i cant... can you post the two files you flashed so i can try them EDIT: anyone here been moved to the EE network? i have and think it looks weird having just EE rather than t mobile
Guest Christiansdad Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Did anyone read my post #3878 saying that once I got Nova Prime working, that SD card storage on App settings broke? Strange as I could view move Apps to SD card before. Anyone get Prime working? And how? Thanks Nova Prime runs fine on mine, only thing i cant do is use the infusion launcher settings as it brings up an error. Tillaz said a while back that a setting apk was missing from the zip he uploaded.

The 'storage-fix.zip' is here: http://www.modaco.co...attach_id=83455 The other one, "only-for-people-with-internal-as-default.zip", from your OP. Looks as if you took the link down... EDIT: I say I can definitely move apps to the sd card... Maybe I should say that I can *apparently* move apps. I get no error from 'app 2 sd'. As posted earlier, the system reports the available space on Internal/SD card reversed. HTH... E Edited October 12, 2012 by BigEric

I seem to be able to move them using the 'app2sd' application. I now have SD card set as default and everything seems to be going there, maps etc. E
Guest Higgy69 Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Nova Prime runs fine on mine, only thing i cant do is use the infusion launcher settings as it brings up an error. Tillaz said a while back that a setting apk was missing from the zip he uploaded. I integrated the Settings.APK from his other Launcher ZIP, it removed 'Launcher' from the Settings Menu so that is good. But I think it was this that then broke the SD card / App thing. We need an Android brain to explain why this would affect the SD card / App thing. I don't really use any Launcher settings so might just leave it on 'lite', thankfully Prime only cost me £0.25.
Guest ZoomG Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) I am sorry again for another off topic question but can you tillaz please tell me where from will you buy your next ZTE Era? can you please provide a link ? also can you please suggest me which one of those would you buy : http://www.merimobil..._p/meri5714.htm http://www.merimobil..._p/meri6533.htm http://www.merimobil..._p/meri6977.htm or should i just wait for ZTE ERA ? i guess i would stick to ZTE as it seems to be a more popular company ... but i just don't know ... Guest The White Sock Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 anyone tried this launcher ? http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1825836 My feedback about this one. Really beautiful widget, the circles can be swapped to change the info displayed (for example, change the city for the weather, switch to analog or digital clock) all in a smooth and eye-candy animation. But, there is no settings for this one. Cannot change the size of the grid, resize a widget, no choice of transition between the pages, no gesture. You have a pinch zoom out gesture but that all. Also the dock doesn't work properly, I mean that you can add five apps but the one on the border side are half out off the screen (really ugly thing). When you swipe to the last page and swipe again to the right, you have a page to add a new black one or to use a pattern given by the launcher. The app drawer is really smooth, but you cannot add a new tab or make folder inside of it. The widget drag and drop from it to the home screen doesn't work. I will give a try to the second one and will be back give my impressions.
Guest Pain_Deluxe Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 can i set the lowest to 122mhz. I gues it was so on stock GB and better battery stats says that i'm the hole time running on 1ghz

Your opinion would help me out a lot i guess thank you for your time and your hard work ! it depends on how much you have to spend, those phones have great specs for the price, not sure how well they are supported though (if that matters) the zte era is going to cost around £199 to £250 but has much better specs... so it depends on you really the zte v985 (era) is not officially released yet, but will release towards the end of this mouth the Chinese u985 version is currently available for £199.99 this version is TD-SCDMA the European version is WCDMA so if you are getting a phone make sure its WCDMA

Guest tillaz Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 The tablet looks really good especially for the price but the screen is really not a good resolution its good enough for a 9 year old's first tablet... (its for my daughter) can play all games with no problems as it has the quad core Mali 400 GPU (SAME AS GALAXY S2 / S3) 1GB DDR3 RAM specs are second to non for the price, scores 8400 in antutu

Guest andy.hyde4 Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) I know that but my point is the amount of pixels not the arrangement. The amount of pixels is the same. Its the low ppi. Anyway it doesn't matter it is still a very good device for the money. Edited October 12, 2012 by andy.hyde4

Guest andy.hyde4 Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Well I mean for like 62 quid its actually quite tempting.
Guest Ludak021 Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 800 x 480 is different to 480 x 800 by the look of it this is 800 x 480 (tablet) not to bad on a 7 inch screen 480 x 800 resolution rotated (screenshot from my phone) second screenshot is not 800x480, it's only 640x384. Something re-sized it (or should I say: downsized it) and made a horrid jpeg compression (something in the lines of 50% q. setting ). Probably just the software u used to capture it.
