Guest Sonny Atwal Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Just one simple question! Is JB coming for our devices? wrong thread to ask this question, this thread is to do with Tillaz's ROM only nothing else. Tillaz has already stated there wont be many updates for this device when he gets his new phone. So i expect when this is stable and updated that will be the last we see of him.
Guest kyan31 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 Just one simple question! Is JB coming for our devices? Jellybean? We haven't even got a full ICS rom yet. Don't be greedy :D
Guest kyan31 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 i dont have any of these problems, so i think it may be a problem on your end, which means an update is not going to help you. i suggest you do a full reset of everything and re-install the current ROM and then install a few apps at a time and test them out. its very likely it is either an app or a mod you have installed which is causing these problems. Many users are experiencing his problem. Even I am experiencing this. You probably have it too but you haven't stumbled upon it yet. Tillaz is already aware however so there is no need to bug him.

Yes ,once he get his quad core device,he is out of here.
Guest backside Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Hi, Now you can use the 2GB SD partition for install APPs. See my post: http://www.modaco.co...le-s2e-in-g300/ I hope Tillaz will add the support for the next release!

Guest Colossae3.23 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 i think this or 1 of the other suggested s2e in the thread would be a good addition to the rom imo :) +1 from me too (I hope its all sorted out, cause didn't jiko brick his phone trying something like this?)
Guest FrankieADZ Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 +1 from me too (I hope its all sorted out, cause didn't jiko brick his phone trying something like this?) i dont think it was doing that...i think it was something else. cant remember what tho lol
Guest tillaz Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 +1 from me too (I hope its all sorted out, cause didn't jiko brick his phone trying something like this?) what is s2e ? will people know how to use it, iv never heard of it before... iv always used / included link2sd when storage has been crappy.. easy to use interface etc.
Guest Colossae3.23 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 yeah I don't remember exactly either, but it was the partition swap they were working on. It definitely wasn't this app though
Guest tillaz Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 i dont think it was doing that...i think it was something else. cant remember what tho lol messing with mount points is something i wont be doing again...
Guest FrankieADZ Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 messing with mount points is something i wont be doing again... ah that was it...lol
Guest Colossae3.23 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 @ tillaz if you had the time to look at that thread (S2e) what do you think, is it any good, and is it safe?
Guest tcpaulh Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 s2e = simple to ext. A straightforward app shifter requiring an ext partition. It's on the market.
Guest Hpez Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Why not just use Link2SD? I have always found it works great and doesn't really need a guide or modded ROM to work.
Guest cjcandrei Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I'm using link2sd and I've linked the sdext2 directory to the internal 2Gb partition. Works great.
Guest backside Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) messing with mount points is something i wont be doing again... Hi Tillaz, My mod is only for enable "userinit" support, this is an extension of the current "init.d" support. In some Custom Roms (CM, MIUI, etc.) this extension is for enable "init.d" scripts without write privileges to RO "/system" partition. This is the only petition to you, please: add the "20userinit" script to "/system/etc/init.d" and create the directory "/data/local/userinit.d". All of this is safe and copied from CM7 (fell free to download the script from any repository that you like!). I'm not asking to you to change any partition or change anything about them! All of the other uses (S2e, internal SD as EXT4, CompCache, etc.) is only if some user likes to install and use them. Is a simple as add a "feature" in your ROM. You're only adding "init.d + userinit" support. Why not do it? Edited August 1, 2012 by backside

Guest Rico_89 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Why not just use Link2SD? I have always found it works great and doesn't really need a guide or modded ROM to work. .. will this allow me to move apps onto the internal 2gb of free space, even though I have a micro SD card installed?

Why not do it? i know its nothing to do with the mount points was just saying how the phone got bricked :( new features will be added in future releases, next version is ready to upload (later on today) then im leaving this for a while, 2 or 3 weeks or till we have something new from huawei witch ever comes first.

Great! I can survive if I need to "manually" add the script to the init.d directory with your new release for today. Nevertheless, I'm in the process to ask to the developer of the "S2e" to add support for other partitions (like our internal SD, aka mmcblk0p19), so if you add the script today this will be more easy. Can you do, please? In any case: great job! We really appreciate your effort!
Guest dt_matthews Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 that looks sweet ;) anyone got a link for the equalizer apk?
Guest wso277 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 I'm using link2sd and I've linked the sdext2 directory to the internal 2Gb partition. Works great. Sorry for the off topic, how can you point the partition to the internal card? I have it empty and could use it for this. On my old x3 sometimes after a reboot I wouldn't have my apps because of a mount problem with the sd card. Tillaz, keep the good work. Already made backups and waiting for that update. :-)

I see you have updated the first post but the download link is not working. I assume this is due to it not being uploaded? and not a broken link, etc? Does supercharger work now? or is it still borked?
Guest anything-but Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Prob just uploading the rom, still i`ve got google now fully working to play with while i wait. :D Edited August 1, 2012 by anything-but
