Also is b927 beta likely to go stable soon? If I'm re flashing would be good to know if should wait a bit, or if I can flash a later version over top without a full wipe!

not sure because it will depend on the people testing it...

that's the idea of the beta, the users tell me witch is the best between the two, then we will continue with that build

For me it`s already way better than the 926 based one. After setting up,running benchmarks, browsing, watching videos and general mucking about with the phone there`s none of the *wade through treacle* feel that 926 gave me after the same period of time. Will still report through the day but for me personally it`s much improved. :)

Much smoother then the b926 based infusion, not sure about battery life yet.

Just flashed the beta and the Wifi fix and it does seem smoother so far, but I can confirm that my ringtone issue has been solved with this build .. pheew thanks Tilaz. :D

.. I'll add that connecting to pc via usb still reverts back to default ringtone, but that's ICS not infusion.

Great Job! This feels quite a bit faster than the b926 builds, I did notice the cpu load is far lower than the previous iterations.

ok. Tks.

I already installed. and works great.

I expirence 2 rounds reboots... But apart of that, it's more quiker the 926.

The Beta feels "faster" to me, haven't encountered any bugs yet and battery seems very good. Is Nova Launcher generally considered faster than say Apex Launcher? I had been using that on stock B926 and the previous Infusion roms. Nova seems more responsive.

As an aside, a user on another forum reported hearing from a source that Vodafone Ireland plan to release a B893 GB rom next week as a precursor to an ICS rom later this month. Apparently B893 requires B886 to upgrade from (this was the rom released on VF Ireland phones) and is a maintenance release to allow the ICS upgrade. Off topic I know but hardly worth starting a thread over.

Well the beta (with patch) seems to be a good performer after a few hours of use. Also not had the frequent random reboots that I was getting the the one based on B926.

Good work Tillaz!

Might have found another bug.

Can anyone else with power controls widget enable/disable wifi using it and see if it reboots the phone, Enabling it is fine, but as soon as i disable it,the phone reboots, just about to try a fresh install and see if it`s a app causing it or it`s in the rom.

Just tried turing off wifi from within system settings and it still reboots when turning it off, will report back after the fresh install.

Seems fine here. But one time it turn it self on again. But looks like its working fine.

Might have found a bug on the beta.

Charged my phone, the green led lights up and the symbol is full, but the percentage in the circular battery only gives 91%.

Already wiped battery stats on Cwm.

Trying to get a logcat but "no such file, dir" As it`s the 1st time i`ve tried is there something i need to make sure is enabled on alogcat/phone?

Problem is still there on the fresh install,if you allow wifi to connect to the router and then turn it off it`ll reboot, but if you just click it on/off and not allow it to connect it doesn`t reboot.

Think you might be on to something, this happens to me too. The phone reboots consistently when wifi is toggled to off

Haven't had it neither in infusion or stock 927.

Wifi off doesn't reboot the phone here.

It will probably need activating somewhere in the service menu, the number of which escapes me right now.
