Guest Mario_Cardoso Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) Pirex69, see this post here http://www.modaco.co...80#entry2000942 This is a Rom based in B927. It seems more stable, more fast and without lags. EDIT: Based in B927, not B967 as I said! Edited August 6, 2012 by Mario_Cardoso

Guest G300 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I was using B927 ICS with super charger was faster than Infusion on ICS B926. But was getting stock browser closing on me a hell of a lot of time also Nasa app would not play Nasa hd tv channel. Now running Infusion B927 BETA, stock browser has not closed once on me. Nasa tv Plays fine, overall I would say this is the Rom to use at the moment very smooth. Well-done Tillaz nice work keep it up making the phone feel well worth the purchase.
Guest FrankieADZ Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 does ICS still suffer from lack of memory(not where u put ur apps the other) ?
Guest Mario_Cardoso Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 @Mario_Cardoso is the B927 beta diferente from the one on the first page? Yes. In the first post you have Infusion, based in B926. The Beta, based in B927, is better. But, is a beta version and it can has some bugs.
Guest tcpaulh Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 does ICS still suffer from lack of memory(not where u put ur apps the other) ? No, it uses everything it can so none is sitting idle. Free mem is wasted mem
Guest FrankieADZ Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) No, it uses everything it can so none is sitting idle. Free mem is wasted mem found when i was using it it i had less than 50mb for a while....while on GB its up around 150mb + with the same apps installed  (dont mean app storage, i think its system memory. Guest Cyda Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 found when i was using it it i had less than 50mb for a while....while on GB its up around 150mb + with the same apps installed  (dont mean app storage, i think its system memory. ICS will use more than GB but it uses it in a different way. The amount of 'free ram' means very little.
Guest TangerineTractor Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 What wifi patch are you talking about? and who is Zillas? Zillas was a typo! And the wifi patch is on the original post for the beta download http://www.modaco.com/topic/355994-rom-infusion-b010812-ics-403-b927-beta-page-35/page__st__680#entry2000942

Guest wso277 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 Two days with the beta+patch and zero problems. Faster than previous versions zero lag even after unlocking. Will report about battery life in a day or two but for now seems normal.
Guest mike williams Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 New rom working flawlessly so far. Well done. Can we install the addons from page 1 - talk and so on?
Guest Mario_Cardoso Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 I think i´m gone a stay at infusion. it´s working great for the moment :) but i´ll try this one during the weekend :) thks @Mario_Cardoso If you aren't very comfortable with flashes and If your system is OK, stay at Infusion for now. When Tillas release a major version, then you can upgrade it! But the feedback from users are very good relatively to the Beta B927! It seem there aren't any bugs in that rom, which is fantastic! Your're welcome! :)
Guest Zuks Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 Does anyone is getting and error with the otion to enable usb storage? For me if the phone goes idle or I leave the screen of the USB Storage it just reset to "Enable USB Storage" rather than "DIsable USB Storage" and I can unmount. Im currently on B927 Beta but happens on the stable B926 based one.
Guest Mario_Cardoso Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 In Infusion B926 I haven't that bug.
Guest bladebuddy Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) Just flashed this the beta version my first custom rom flashed so far and I am very impressed so far, loving the start up guide, but I didn't notice the sync icon not appearing when syncing with my Google account, but no biggy as it did sync. Also Tilla this is a bit of topic but is you're profile picture that of GTA rockstar logo as looks quite similar. Finally I have keyboard pro as my favorite keyboard and even with keyboard manager installed. I am at a lost at trying to install it which is very important to me as need the black on white to see properly , I have crappy eyes. Any help appreciated.:D Edited reboot sorted out my keyboard problem. Edited August 6, 2012 by bladebuddy
Guest Gigahurtz Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) Wifi turning off bug still present for me. As soon as I turn it off I get reboot. I have used the patch and and done numerous wipes. Update - does not reboot if I have network data turned off before turning on and then off again. Weird. Great work on the ROM. Guest Rico_89 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 That method didn't work for me, so I had to tighten my adult diaper and use this method  : http://www.modaco.com/topic/355556-guide-change-to-any-g300u8815u8818-rom-via-boot-loader-version-bypass-hack/

(Pink bar two thirds). A few hairy moments and some stuff I didn't understand but OK in the end!
