I want to change over to B927 but now when I choose SD card upgrade I get the "Wrong" meassage "The key data cannot be backed up. Thus, the upgrade cannot proceed.". Am I missing something obvious?

That won't happen if you choose to not back up data

you will need to flash the rom over the top, boot up, then go back and flash the patch

a new version will be up later on in the week with every thing included on first page

I am having same problem as landwomble.

I am running infusion and have unlock code but cannot enter it because when I insert a different sim I get an error message "unfortunately, system ui has stopped" and screen becomes unresponsive until I remove battery.

I have searched any key combinations on the huawei to prompt for unlock code but it appears the only way is by inserting a non vodafone sim.

Did landwomble fix his problem as I could not see an answer in this thread?

On my old ideos x3 you could only insert the unlock code with the original rom and the install a custom rom. Maybe thats the same for g300

Installed this rom with the wifi-fix a few hours ago. So far so good, as many others its my feeling that its more smooth then its predecessor. Will report any bugishness if I find it, thanks Tillaz =)

unlock phone,

now restore nandroid backup ;)

Don't know if its just me, but when i go settings>lockscreen> the little cog symbol> set lockscreen wallpaper> others> gallery, then pick my lockscreen picture it wont show on lockscreen, this worked on atomicmod.

Yeah, I just did this. Flash a stock ICS Huawei ROM. Unlock phone by putting in new SIM and entering the code. When unlocked, go ahead and root, install CWM and install this ROM. All working GREAT now, very happy!

Thanks WSO, Tillaz and landwomble. Guessed that was gonna be the fix for now. I am suprised that most peeps seem to wait to do their unlock code before trying your rom. I had the rom up within 30 mins of getting the phone and then waited 48 hours for an ebay unlock code so that is why this problem has arose.

I second that. Its pretty smooth, and a vast improvement over the b926 base.

How do I get rid of the circle battery percent icon on the top left hand corner?

OK. Some feedback fter 1 day:

Wow.

It is VERY fast. Very smooth. Excellent battery performance.

In fact, it's hard to believe it's a £100 device.

Needed the wifi patch, the exchange email settings, and the build.prop wifi fix.

Primarily running Opera Mobile (the only one that text wraps), tweetcaster, exchange mail and gmail, google maps. Nova launcher uprated to Pro. Other stuff installed includes Light Flow, Smart Profiles, Quick Notifications.

Not encountered any bugs since the final build.prop mod. Absolutely stuning ROM Tillaz. Take a bow!

I'm not looking to get rid off the circle battery, its just I have 2 off them for some reason, one on the right hand side off the screen, and one in the left hand side of the screen, the one on the left hand side is not as bold as the original one.

App drawer/ "power toggles" / "Notification Widget" menu on the top right (in the rectangle) then set "Notification Icon" to Transparent.
