@maritimesbob, please read the first post (just the first post), then read it fully, then read it properly, then read the bit that says 'you must read this first', if necessary click the little button that says 'show'.

[Edit] If nothing shows, try a different browser (thanks dan nedan - post below).

I think this is a little harsh, I am a bit of a noob, I can see how the first page works, I can open the button etc........... but like maritimesbob I have no idea why the multitasking options seem to be repeated or worse still what they do !

I do not know how to work out if they are installed, need to be installed, have been left out coz..... etc. let alone what they may do, it ain't that easy

"IF YOU PLAN ON USING ROOT, TURN IT ON FROM SETTINGS BEFORE YOU START INSTALLING YOUR APPS >> SYSTEM / PERMISSIONS" if I try to open system/perissions I get an alert telling me "Unfortunately, Infusion Settings has stopped". I reboot but still get the same - I don't know what thats about or if its important.

the ones under the category "stock battery add-ons" have the stock battery icon

the others have the circle battery icon that come with the rom...

your probably getting the force close for permission because you have flashed superuser.apk / rooted your phone ???

if you re flash the rom and check it with out adding / doing anything you will see it works ;)

I've got a bit of weird problem with bluetooth where it connects/pairs to my car for the phone but I can't play music through it. I can make phonecalls without problem but it doesn't "see" it for music (through the auxilliary settings on the car). Has anyone else come across this?

My sofa has an ipod dock, with bluetooth and SD/USB slots, it plays my music flawlessly using the Infusion rom.

Thanks for your time tillaz, I think I read the instructions wrong regarding "turn root on" and did root and have super installed (I think you may have added the system/permissions bit after). Its running well, and I am learning as I go along. all good.

In this B04 version I get the same error on the OTA update that I get on the B1: Error fetching update info: Invalid Rom(infusionG300) and device (huw8815) combo!

damn just read the topic.

OTA is disabled.

Sorry if I didn't read 116 pages. I read the original post, and thought it was enough to make my post

You can also use the search box at the top of the page to find especific terms in this topic, then you don't have to read the 116 pages.

Will JB Infusion going to be if jb is going to be stable?

Will JB Infusion going to be if jb is going to be stable

...........

Two different devs, two different roms... So no, tillaz doesn't have time and once he gets his quad core we are all on our own.

P. S.

NONE OF THESE ROMS ARE COMPLETE, they're all a work in progress.

not unless huawei release stock jelly bean for the g300...

as much as i would love to see CM10 fully working i'm not sure the video camera will ever work fully, without an official update

but that dose not mean it wont ever be stable, i'm certain it will become stable... just maybe not fully working,

but that's the same in most places without official JB

on a side note this can be use to get some kind of video recording (at least it works on my LG O2X JB )

link here

and even if it was fully working. its not my work... so defiantly not unless there is a stock JB rom,

i will continue to work on the g300 after i get my new phone but only if significant things get leaked / fixed / released, from huawei

and at a much slower rate :)

I got a problem with the proximity sensor. When i end a call it doesn't turn on the screen, it remains in dark. I found a post with the same problem: http://www.modaco.co...ty-sensor-help/

This problem comes with the B934. Can you do something with this?

Thanks Sorry about my english

that has nothing to do with the rom, probably something you changed in the settings or the hardware..go to vodafone if it gets worse

yh that makes sense, by that time Infusion would be pretty much perfect..unless we get official JB ^_^

sorry about earlier, it didnt occur to me to check what was in that zip...but i was wondering if i would get some advise about compiling an .apk for the JB power widgets for the ics release?

Can anyone else check if the Blink app (different LED colours for different events) works for them? I saw on another thread that someone got it working on stock ICS but it's not kicking in for me on Infusion (missed calls are still flashing green, whereas I've set it blue in Blink).

Thanks

its not your fault, i just wish the guy who did it had asked,

this kind of stuff needs re-built into the new base files rather than just replacing half the system with old files,

especially the whole framework-res (this holds all the unique ids)

i would love to explain how its done but it really depends on what .smali code is used in your systemUI, it can differ in different builds / roms

making it hard to write a universal guide, my advice would be to find an already written guide on porting status bar power widgets, then adapt the code to work with your systemUI, .smail code is extremely hard to grasp though

i had it working, you need to change the settings to compatibility mode or something... will have a look later

looks different to the way i do it but if your interested in getting familiar with code these are perfect places to start,

trying out as many code related "HOW TO / GUIDES" is the best way to learn

tip: when compiling .apk / .dex if you get errors always read the log.txt, this is crucial in finding the problem

remember, we all started some where... i'm still learning everyday :)
