Hmm. You could put something like touch t.t (create file t,t) or some other logging in the script just to make sure the script is actually executed. Sounds like it isn't running. I take it ls -l (or a root file manager) shows execute permission actually added successfully?

"INIT.D SCRIP SUPPORT" is definitely listed at http://www.modaco.co...dated-01-08-12/

Didnt understand your last post very well. I'm still a bit of a noob at android. I changed the permission with es explorer running as root. I set read, write, execute permission for everyone.

Let's back to the begining.

Has someone any idea how to avoid that internal memory (Fat), was mounted when using USB mass storage.

Regards.

That should have done it. Think I am out of ideas now.

link2sd sees that I have (confusingly 2x) 2.05gb partitions on the internal 2gb

1: Ext. SD

/mnt/sdcard2

2: SD Card 2nd Part.

/data/sdext2

but how to I choose (one of) them to install to? my options are still only to move to SD or phone (which still only moves them between the microSD card and the 756mb internal partition) - what have a done wrong?

EDIT ignore me I was trying to move between phone/SD card when I should have linked the files

I'm using CyanogemMod ROM 4.3.1 in a Huawei Ascend G300.

Link2sd script was build in /system/etc/init.d/11link2sd file.

/system/etc/install-recovery.sh file will not work on this system.

I don't think link2int works on CM10.2 at the moment.

I have a rom, Stock +, using link2sd, so I can use the internal storage for apps etc, I've come across a problem where I used to have doggcatcher download apps to that internal storage, it now gets a "file system error" when it tries to write to that partition. Is that becasue of the link2sd on the rom? I can just switch to putting them on the external sd card but I'm just curious as to what's happening there.
