Guest anything-but Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Lol @ your sd cards r/w speed....what one is it?
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Think that's the internal one, confused as it was changed on 934.
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 @ omegamoon Look at the root Makefile. Huawei have some Bluetooth weirdness going on in there. Meanwhile... Haha, I did remove one bearded guy with a strong smell of alcohol from my premises a while ago. Was that you Dazzozo? :D But seriously, I will release the code, every single line of it... But first things first. Coffee anyone? When will this be? :)
Guest wso277 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 I don't have problems with camera except flash. Led doesn't work anywhere. Either stock camera app, camera zoom, power toggles or flashlight. Haven't tested Bluetooth since almost never use it. I'll enable location since I'm on stock 934, can anyone tell me the procedure to get a log?
Guest Cyda Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Went back to stock to enable logging and reinstalled the kernel to get some logs.bt.txtcam.txt
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Oh, I think I just figured out overclocking. That... was easy. :P
Guest Potatoes Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) Love to get voltage control :P It runs rock solidly at 1228mhz, not even tried any higher yet. Assuming that it's running at default voltage I'd guess it'll run at stock speed at significantly less voltage :D Edited August 12, 2012 by Potatoes
Guest wso277 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Just enabled logs. How can i get a log of my flash problem?
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Apparently the 7x27A can run stable at 1.5 GHz, so I'm about to try that. :)
Guest anything-but Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Gotta have to bump the stock voltage up for that surely?
Guest FrankieADZ Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Apparently the 7x27A can run stable at 1.5 GHz, so I'm about to try that. :) best of luck....hope it works :)
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Running at 1.5 GHz. No crashes yet.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 What's the max speed you have compiled into the kernel? 50% overclock is outstanding.
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 On mine? 1.5, but I'm just going to keep pushing it until it conks out.
Guest Nesli Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Wow :D Can you release 1,5ghz kernel? :)
Guest tillaz Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 defiantly would be nice to see a stable 1.5ghz
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 30 mins uptime now, hasn't crashed. I'll go have a play and see if I can get it to die. :P
Guest anything-but Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) Mine conks out anything over 1228mhz. Guess it`s luck of the draw if you get a good "clocker". Stock volts dazz? Edited August 12, 2012 by anything-but
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 I've currently changed nothing outside of the clkctl_acpu_speed table. These settings apparently work fine on another device with the same SoC. I'm using CM10.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Good stuff daz, exciting times.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Missed that little gem, your using cm10 ;)
Guest Dazzozo Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Yeah, that may or may not make a difference, so I thought I'd state that. Meanwhile, anyone building from my sources and using my kernel on the stock ROM I suggest reads http://www.modaco.co...00#entry2004739 While it will always be "the kernel for CM", it should work still on stock ROMs but that is worth noting. Edit: actually I could just make a defconfig for non-CM builds...
Guest devee Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Daz , Tillaz ....any way of creating OC kernel for ginger bread (atomic rom)???
Guest feckineejit Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 Daz , Tillaz ....any way of creating OC kernel for ginger bread (atomic rom)??? +1 on that, but no one is working on this rom no more so i doubt it :(
