Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 New Jelly Bean build today (with hopefully fixed PA Settings)
Guest k0nrad Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 I briefly tested PA ICS yesterday and it ran really smoothly! The only thing that made me go back was that I messed up with some system files while trying to get Google Now running :P. It's also worth noting that I upgraded straight from CFX without wiping /data ad encountered no problems with that. I'm looking forward to try a JB version as it seems to have some real improvements in PA settings as well, right?
Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Yeah, the PA Settings are much more developed on Jelly Bean. Watch video, at the beginning he shows us some parts of the new PA Settings... Edited August 14, 2012 by XMasterNinni

Guest NeillyBeast Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Just put this into my phone, it's running so much better than it ever did thanyou! One thing though, how can I install android apps? (100% n00b)
Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Just flash the GApps zip in the first post afterwards and you will get the Play Store (Android Market).
Guest NeillyBeast Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Cheers, just came back to say that I did that. Though the link in the 1st post didn't work, I used this one: http://goo.im/devs/gmillz/PARANOIDANDROID/gapps-ics-20120511-fixed.zip
Guest Snap.IT Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Hmmm, i keep getting "ParanoidAndroidOTA has stopped unexpectedly". I just removed it. :D Other than that it's a great ROM. :) Edited August 14, 2012 by Snap.IT
Guest gunapriyan Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Rom is working fine except Apollo Player. Can you fix it?

Guest shezar Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 New (currently untested) JB build in a couple of minutes... Cool news, I'll try it when it arrives.
Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 New (untested!) Jelly Bean build (14 Aug): http://minus.com/lgRtnflZteFv1 Please gimme Feedback ;)
Guest shezar Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) New (untested!) Jelly Bean build (14 Aug): http://minus.com/lgRtnflZteFv1 Please gimme Feedback ;) First impression: download is DAMN slow, 66-70 kbps. All right, downloaded, removed the bloatware and flashed with stripped gapps. Didn't wipe data, so I expect some trouble ahead. Rom's booting at this moment. It booted up succesfully and seems quite smooth, preserved my settings, no problems so far... After enabling tablet layout, the first problem: clock text size is a bit high. Well, tablet layout is pretty much useless - too little buttons, too small texts. Phablet UI seemed good but if i set the resolution to 200 dpi, the buttons start to slide out of the screen - annoying. It also has a weird yellow line sometimes just under the statusbar. Anyways, the rom itself works just as Konsta's build does: it's extremely smooth and looks stable enough to me. Edited August 14, 2012 by shezar
Guest ufizo Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 are there any special gapps for JB PA?
Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 @shezar Not as slow as on the Chinese sites (hi.apk something :D) @ufizo Just take the of KonstaT's CM10 Thread. Thanks to him at this place!
Guest Un4got10 Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) will it work on GEN3? btw, filehosting is afwul, upload to mediafire plz... Edited August 14, 2012 by Un4got10
Guest Snap.IT Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 will it work on GEN3? btw, filehosting is afwul, upload to mediafire plz... You can use KonstaT's GEN3 installer for CM9, it's in the KonstaKANG thread.
Guest XMasterNinni Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Thanks shezar! You'll be credited! I couldn't test this build as I must stay at ICS atm..
Guest Arnar Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 I like this rom! I however have a question. Since we have hardware buttons on our Blades is it possible to remove the softkeys so we could have the clock and all that bigger?
