That's not "old". It's part of Android and probably always will be. Huawei just chose to disable it.

The CRT off animation is working here, not sure if I enabled it or not somewhere in the settings, can't find a setting for it now. Was pleased to see it on my G300!

Not sure if it's against the rules to link to XDA or anything, if so my apologies, but I think this should work for enabling the electron beam/CRT effect thing, unless it's device specific or Huawei have mucked about with the code or something.

Im using galaxy s3 Rom but i tried cm10 and there wasnt the Animation so i asked if its possible to integrate the animation into cm10

1.CM is custom rom(the best custom rom)

2.Electron beam (crt animation) is part of CM,but there was issue on JB with sleeping(i think) and it didnt work,NOW IT IS fixed!

DAZ what is hapening with camera? progress?
