Guest timfimjim Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Exciting times. Thanks for the update!
Guest Hans Gruber Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Awesome news. I'm pretty excited for both cm9 & 10 :D
Guest Cyda Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks for the update, Daz. Looking forward to CM9 and onwards to CM10. Exciting times.
Guest billyboy2468 Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 is the cm9 rom for gb or ics, looking for a good rom for gb as ics never works right for me daz, thanks
Guest grmn Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 (edited) CM9 is ICS, but it cannot be compared to the stock huawei crap or repacks/modifications of that. Edited November 5, 2012 by grmn
Guest Frankish Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Great to have an update on CM9. My only few issues are probably the ones you are aware of. Wifi freeze and data dropping after a while and requiring a reboot to work again. Plus a massively minor and probably a CM bug but settings a custom wallpaper only works on low quality images or heavily cropped items. Trying to set a photo doesn't apply at all. :)
Guest hippy dave Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 thanks for the update dazz, it was pretty much exactly what i'd hoped you'd say :) can't wait for the new cm9, will keep me more than happy until cm10 is ready :) billyboy, yes cm9 is ics, but believe me it will be worth trying, puts the official ics to shame.
Guest billyboy2468 Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 cheers dave ,dont like ics but,get black screen on it,but its ok in gb
Guest CommeRestus Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Tks. Great to hear that. Dont forget about our dota game xD
Guest ChrisPNE Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Loved CM9 on my Wildfire but I'll love it even more on my G300. :) Great work Daz.
Guest Romu_Android Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks Daz for your amazing work in this phone
Guest Ludak021 Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 Trolling? I'm just stating what the unreleased cm9 by daz runs like... what baseband is it for? 2030 or the old one?
Guest Davidoff59 Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 2030 is the future so the old baseband is no longer supported. The old baseband code is available, pretty sure Dazzozo left it on his github incase anyone wanted to build CM7 for whatever reason
Guest Ludak021 Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 I think github asks money for registration so I don't follow it but thank you all! :)
Guest fr0do Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 I think github asks money for registration so I don't follow it but thank you all! :)no it doesn't
Guest lostboybinns Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 I will defo be using cm9 once it's out, cheers daz
Guest mariuscesane Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 I installed CM10 on huawei G300 and found that it has some problems: no work camera and bluettoh room. is there any update to solve the problem? Help me please!
Guest b4da55 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 I installed CM10 on huawei G300 and found that it has some problems: no work camera and bluettoh room. is there any update to solve the problem? Help me please! Not yet though daz is working on it. If you want a "fully" working jb for now then try shendu jb and flash jb keyboard. Im not a fan of shendu roms usually but couldn't resist jb .
