Guest ethan59 Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Zte unfortunately many promises but no phone arrives in Europe anyway!
Guest hugobosslives Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Yer pretty sure I'm guna get the nexus 16gb. If the space thing does bother me (for example if i move to cloud storage and do not like it) I can always sell the nexus in the new year for 200ish and buy an ltequadcoremsdcardmotherfuckerofaphone.

Guest JHsaucy Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 I think I'll settle for the Nexus 4 16gb, definitely the best cheap-ish phone out there atm
Guest tillaz Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 yeah, 16gb nexus 4 is what i will probably get
Guest tillaz Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 xD http://gadgetinsider...ut-for/1202423/ guys just found dat article if u wanna take a look ... i read different, the S4 pro / adreno 320 out performed everything http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/355938/20120625/qualcomm-snapdragon-s4-soc-benchmark-exynos-nvidia.htm
Guest ZoomG Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 where can i found a list of country where i can buy one ? as far as i see its unavailable in slovenija, is it only for uk atm ?
Guest ZoomG Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2462844 found it, thx anyway
Guest ablackswan Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 yeah, 16gb nexus 4 is what i will probably get
Guest tillaz Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 i thought, you didn't wanna get the nexus 4 because it doesn't have micro SD slot and therefore no enough memory i didn't, but with zte stating that they have no plans to release the grand era in the uk (this year).... what other option do i have? i hate my o2x and can't wait until after xmas for something new, my idea is to just take the nexus 4 now and sell it when a better option with extendable memory comes along :) 16bg version will give 13.5gb available,
Guest ZoomG Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/13/htc-droid-dna-verizon/ just found this article :) looks really nice to me, what u say tillaz ? http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/htc-droid-dna-verizon/4505-6452_7-35536642.html Edited November 14, 2012 by ZoomG
Guest tillaz Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 http://www.engadget....id-dna-verizon/ just found this article looks really nice to me, what u say tillaz ? http://reviews.cnet....7-35536642.html its an amazing phone but its $200 with a two year contract, so pay go will cost around $500+ and if it comes to the uk i would expect it to cost £500+
Guest kliskobg Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 (edited) It has been announced for Europe (I mean Era, not the HTC) http://news.softpedi...pe-307867.shtml Edited November 20, 2012 by kliskobg
Guest ZoomG Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 great news ! now the question is : wait for this one or grab the nexus 4 in a week or two when it'll be available ?
Guest ablackswan Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 it depends of the zte era's price. it was announced for ~250€, the nexus 4 (8Go) is at 300€...
Guest tillaz Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 zte told me it wont be in uk this year  ah well... if its available in the uk before the nexus 4 is back in stock i will take the era (purely for the expandable memory) it should only be £199.99, same as there price in china
Guest tillaz Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 wcdma version of the zte grand era for £215 http://www.fastcardtech.com/goods-7813-ZTE-V985-Grand-Era-quad-core-3G-cell-phone-1280%2A720-screen-1G-RAM-4GB-ROM.html such a shame this is not in the uk for that price
Guest ZoomG Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 dat damn Google, now in USA Nexus 4 is available but shipping takes from 8 to 9 weeks O.o , tht's in case you order and pay it today > you'll get it in 8 weeks .... nothing to say here ...
Guest ZoomG Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012 something new :) http://www.gsmarena.com/meizu_mx2_is_official_quadcore_bigger_hd_screen_jelly_bean-news-5134.php
Guest TouchyAndalou Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 Are you still leaning towards the Era, Tillaz? I've got to admit, I'm more and more tempted by the Nexus 4 despite the non-expandable memory and non-removable battery situation. It pretty much ticks every other box.

Google are probably just trying to prepare people for the worst case scenario. Shame about the Era, but it's ZTE's loss. I'll be looking at getting the N4 too now.
Guest tillaz Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 the ZTE Nubia Z5 sounds like an interesting phone, probably wont come to the uk ether... http://www.phonearen...is-time_id37419
Guest quadroid Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 Hi Guys, First time poster here. Came across this message board in my attempt to find a way to root my ZTE U985 Grand Era which I have just recently bought. I got it directly from the ZTE online shop for 1600RMB (£160) and while I was at it I picked up a ZTE U930 for 800RMB (£80) which I thought was a great deal. Been playing with both phones now for a couple of weeks and I have to say so far so good. They have been more than worth the money.
