Screen won't turn on

My G300 suddenly won't turn on. The screen glitches briefly but nothing is displayed. It lights up, but no information.

I only got this phone a few months ago. What's wrong with it?

You need to explain what you have done or not done to put you're phone in this state.

I did drop it earlier today but there are no cracks and it didn't seem to affect it directly afterwards, so it could be coincidence. It seems almost like a loose connector.

I can't help you but there maybe others that can. Just keep an eye on this thread.

You could try to get a replacement from the shop you purchased the phone from. If there's know marks visable then you should b o.k.

Should be pretty simple, ribbon cables and philips screws :)

I busted my SanFran opening it up so I'm not confident enough without a guide. If I could at least remove the digitiser screen I might be able to see if there's a loose cable.

There are threads here on taking it apart, and a few videos on YouTube. Best return it if you haven't had it long.

And I found at least three more G300 disassembly/tear-down videos on YouTube via a quick Google search...

Dropping the phone then the screen not working sounds pretty clearly like damage or at least a connection working loose to me.
