Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 Hello there, This may seem like a stupid question but I was wandering whether it's possible to use my wi-fi connection as my mobile signal in order to send texts and call people. Basically, is there a way to make my WIFI act as my signal. The reason I'm asking is because 'Three' has some problems in my town so I have no signal when I'm at home, so I want to know if it's possible for me to use wifi as my signal. Thank you.
Guest Dazzozo Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 Isn't this exactly what the Orange Signal Boost was?
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 I'm not sure, I thought it just boosted call quality? Plus I'm on 3 so I doubt it'd work.
Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) This is what the orange signal boost does. http://www2.orange.c...d=1306843176798 I doubt you'll be able to use it with Three though. Edited September 11, 2012 by PsYcHoKiLLa
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 I'll try and flash the zip on the CM9 thread and see if it works with three. Thanks
