Guest cool-freak Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 I hope that someone can help me with this. I´m having some problems when i want to install .xml files. This is what hapened qhen i tryed to install "changer sonneries".I copied the files to the phone and when i pressed the action button it gave me this: - - - - - - - - Does anyone now what i must do? I´m getting desperate, there´s a lot of stuff i can´t install. Tanks
Guest martin Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 It sounds like you are extracting the files from a CAB file (a bit like a ZIP file) and then copying the files to the SPV. This is only correct for standard ZIP files. What you need to do is copy the original CAB file to the SPV and click on it using Smart Explorer. It will self install :) Another way is copying the CAB file to IPSMWindowsStartMenu and selecting it from the file the Programs menu. [edit] I've just seen that encece has already answered this in another topic. Double post. Posted from my SmartPhone!

Guest xavierjohn22 Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Downloading zip file, .rar file, .cab file, .hme. anything. We can download those files almost anywhere. hoping for that help mate.
Guest DarkJedi Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 anytime i try to download, it tells me that the file can't be displayed on this device, even though i've been able to download zips, hmes and cabs just fine before. most things are added as attachments and aren't links, so downloading from the mobile site would be excellent. thanks :P

Guest fozzie Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 www.modaco.com !!! The site detects what version of browser you are using and serves up the appropriately formatted pages.

Guest fozzie Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Paul, Any chance you can get the site to detect the new Opera browser so that Mobile MoDaCo pages are served instead of the 'full' site's pages? Ta.
Guest cd-text Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 I just went to the link at: http://www.modaco.com/ and it said it wasn't available. Also how do you become a "user granted special access" to http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=101792 Regards, Mark
