Guest babitzy Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 I've installed the Antutu Tester and on multi-touch tester I had the result for only two fingers while on a friends Galaxy Plus the maximum is 5 touches. Is this a hardware or a software difference? I'm asking this because I recently installed b936.
Guest Frankish Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Software pretty sure we're capable of at least 5 touch points.
Guest Nesli Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Nop, it´s related to digitizer, huawei used cheap one in our G300, cause if price of the device..But 2 touches it 99pct enough for regular use and gaming ;)
Guest Colin Whiteside Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 At least it's two proper touches, unlike the HTC Desire and other cheap units which only support single-touch and interpolate where your two fingers are.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Dazzozo has stated he may look into it at some stage as it could be a software thing, unless you can post links to where its been checked and verified that its a hardware limitation.
Guest babitzy Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 thanks guys. now it's clear. I know that it doesn't matter if you have 5 or 2 points but I couldn't get rid of this thought :)
Guest popoyaya Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 thanks guys. now it's clear. I know that it doesn't matter if you have 5 or 2 points but I couldn't get rid of this thought How is it clear? Some say hardware, some say possible software.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 we won't know until its been checked.
Guest babitzy Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 there are more votes for hardware and if you have the same result for other ROMs then it is probably hw.
