Multi-touch comparison

I've installed the Antutu Tester and on multi-touch tester I had the result for only two fingers while on a friends Galaxy Plus the maximum is 5 touches. Is this a hardware or a software difference? I'm asking this because I recently installed b936.

At least it's two proper touches, unlike the HTC Desire and other cheap units which only support single-touch and interpolate where your two fingers are.

Dazzozo has stated he may look into it at some stage as it could be a software thing, unless you can post links to where its been checked and verified that its a hardware limitation.

thanks guys. now it's clear. I know that it doesn't matter if you have 5 or 2 points but I couldn't get rid of this thought

How is it clear? Some say hardware, some say possible software.
