It has a HSPA+ radio, which while fast, is not quite the same league as 4G. More like 3.5G, if you will. It's fast enough for HQ YouTube, which is more than enough for me. 4G will get slower as more people jump on the network, so take that PR and those YouTube videos of speed tests with a pinch of salt.

AT&T were very naughty earlier in the year and suddenly made 4G appear on the HSPA+ iPhone in America. Those pesky yanks will try anything! In Europe, calling HSPA+ 4G has specifically been banned (so I hear, can't remember where I heard that though)
