It was already unlocked when I bought it 2nd hand. The phone seems to be pretty much brand new / hardly used by whom ever had it before me. So I'm not so worried by the 2nd warrenty the store gave me. Of course if I brick the phone, it's all my fault and I can't claim anyways. I've already rooted the phone using Paul's rooter, not the one mentioned on http://www.modaco.com/topic/357243-explained-like-youre-5-install-custom-roms-from-scratch-install-the-official-ics-update-root-more/ hopefully the 109808 rooter on that page is the same difference when it comes to rooting? Either way, I'm wanting to know if I do decide to flash ICS / JB am I going to have unlock the phone again? I know unlocking and rooting is two different things, I'm just wondering if I flash ICS / JB on does the "locking" come back? Thanks for any help!
