Not using protection heh. Good that you did not buy what was offered because I don't think Samsung makes scratch guards and specifically not for a phone where their manual recommends not putting one.

The price is pretty good for the phone. I had paid 37k so this is quite close.

Oh yeah.. I jst paid 200 bucks premium for getting it about a week early!! :-D

Anyway..the experience has been jst super awesome..coming from an aging galaxy S..it can't get better. The titanium Grey is cool. S-pen works much better than note 1. Got both the OTA updates within minutes of going online.

Have installed about 60+ apps, smooth as ever. Basically just verifying what others have wrote before!!

Haven't been able to capture battery stats yet. will report.

Issues: launcher has crashed multiple times in about 24 hours of usage. I feel it's got to do with using folders on home screens. The folders look cool in their new avatar, but if I launch an app from a folder and then come back to the home screen, the launcher stops responding. I had placed a heavy folder in the dock. Moved it to the screen, haven't faced any FCs since then. Let's see.

Couldn't find it yet anywhere. I would definitely want to look at the desktop dock.

Also, anyone rooted their devices yet? I see those unwanted apps like email, etc running all the time in the memory and i always have that impulse to jst kill them.

Guys I have a request. Who has already updated the device (OTA) and running of latest official firmware, when you go to about phone and select 'check for software update', what message pops up? Does it say your device is already updated or it keeps saying forever 'checking for updates'? Can you kindly check, I really need to know.

I'd neither if Android were not bloated with plethora of advertisements, which drains battery like hell. So rooted basically to use AdAway. It's only when you use such apps. For such things I don't root, just change the IP address for ad-serving domains to 127.0.0.1 on my DNS :)

i went to update my note 2 for u know multiview feature but glad to know its already updated. i am thinking that wheather samsung updated for me or is it a demo model. have checked out the seal and every thing is great. but have a doubt in mind.

thats weird..can u check if its an indian make only..maybe its some other country's stock..where the updates come out of the box! just my guess..

on the main seal..u will see something of this sort..Name of Commodity - Mobile Phone GT-N7100TADINU. I think, and smone plz correct me if i am wrong, the last 3 chars INU tell u that its an indian stock.

One thing that always makes me feel sad about stock firmwares is the lag that they show while unlocking the screen, be it with the power button..or the home screen!! I know the s-voice thingy..and i have already disabled it..but somehow its not even close to the response time of AOSP..had been using that for months now..and it was amazing!

That half a second lag every time i unlock the fone..aarrrggghhhh!!

ppl facing it?? Is thr any way out?
