The Nexus 7 now has Android 4.1.2!

Build is JZO54K

Reports suggest this minor update fixes bugs and performance issues, such as bootloader crashes and colour issues. Landscape mode has also been added to the stock launcher!

The folks over at XDA have pulled the OTA .zip from the Nexus 7, which can be flashed through ClockworkMod 6.0.1.0. TeamWin Recovery appears to not flash the update at this time.

I've already flashed the update through to my Nexus 7, and I still have root plus an unlocked bootloader.

Here is the information from the build.prop:

Best to wait for Paul to release a version of the Modaco ROM that incorporates it >>

Not a good idea, I tried it and was very glad I had made a nandroid backup.

Interestingly, has just popped up as an OTA update on mine, even when I'm running modaco rom

I just got the OTA prompt as well: how do we stop this happening, so we can wait for the proper Monaco update?
