Guest dragpyre Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 The Nexus 7 now has Android 4.1.2! Build is JZO54K Reports suggest this minor update fixes bugs and performance issues, such as bootloader crashes and colour issues. Landscape mode has also been added to the stock launcher! http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/10/09/android-4-1-2-ota-update-now-rolling-out-to-the-nexus-7-adds-landscape-mode/ The folks over at XDA have pulled the OTA .zip from the Nexus 7, which can be flashed through ClockworkMod 6.0.1.0. TeamWin Recovery appears to not flash the update at this time. I've already flashed the update through to my Nexus 7, and I still have root plus an unlocked bootloader. Here is the information from the build.prop: Details in the following link! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32587682#post32587682

Guest terdbin Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 is it safe to flash this if you have the modaco Rom installed? Not a good idea, I tried it and was very glad I had made a nandroid backup.
Guest terdbin Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Interestingly, has just popped up as an OTA update on mine, even when I'm running modaco rom
