Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Lol I though you talking about the first android man before you push power + volume up to enter bootloader. Anyway back on topic, basically my fastboot sucks so the command is not working ;) Edited October 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest rickywyatt Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 download my brick fixer and copy the fastboot from it
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) LOl that was it, I had adb setup on variable and I put fastboot in that folder which for some reason not working ? Anyway, used fixbrick and worked straight away, recovery sent OK So now try the update yes ? Shall I flash from recovery ? Installing.... Crap it wants the build.prop for orange gingerbread still Edited October 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Yeah that works Still wants build.prop though Edited October 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest rickywyatt Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 it's looking for this intel/AZ210A/AZ210A:2.3.7/AZ210A_GB_01.01I/eng.svnadmin.20120503.143655:user/release-keys
Guest geoff1951 Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 Keep going lads, I really hope you crack this - I'm interested in seeing the Orange ICS.
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) it's looking for this intel/AZ210A/AZ210A:2.3.7/AZ210A_GB_01.01I/eng.svnadmin.20120503.143655:user/release-keys I try editing build.prop and see if it works. From what it says in recovery it looks like it only wants fingerprint so I changing to= intel/AZ210A/AZ210A:2.3.7/AZ210A_GB_01.01I/eng.svnadmin.20120503.143655:user/release-keys ro.ibuild.revision=3066 Edited October 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest rickywyatt Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 so change ro.build.fingerprint
Guest The-Bledard Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 Doesn't work even if build.prop is edited. It runs some "apply_patch_check" before installing and it fails...
Guest iam_smithers Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Some screenshots of Orange ICS, and it is indeed very Orange: Edited October 13, 2012 by iam_smithers
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Yep apply patch fail :( Oh I see, system/app/ApplicationProvider.apk is failing that check. I got one from orange gingerbread, just moving to system now Edited October 13, 2012 by Guest
Guest rickywyatt Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 I bet your going to have to erase the system in fastboot or push the gb Rom to system
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 Yep lol, I moved applications provider and now it fails on bluetooth apk lol
Guest The-Bledard Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 @rickywyatt is it possible to install xolo ics on an erased system partition ? I'm asking this just if the Orange update fails after erasing system partition.
Guest The-Bledard Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 @jikobutsu : do you have system apps from Orange GB ?
Guest Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 (edited) Yeah I have the orange dump on desktop, I am going to do them all lol, of course the device wont boot after as they are not ics apps.
