Standard USB audio on ZTE Crescent

Hi,

My goal is to use a standard audio DAC on the ZTE Crescent.

Is there a way to enable standard audio USB on the Crescent ? (rom?,kernel?)

I'm on CM10 : I know that Jelly Bean supports USB audio output but not the standard mode.

"USB audio output support allows hardware vendors to build hardware such as audio docks that interface with Android devices. This functionality is also exposed with the Android Open Accessory Development Kit (ADK) to give all developers the chance to create their own hardware."

On this post, Sven Killig did the job with the ZTE blade (fisrt one).

On this post, Flav106 does it on a nexus 7 with a Glados kernel.

HI me,

Just to inform myself ^_^ that USB Audio playback is possible on Android 3.1 or higher with "USB Audio Recorder PRO".

But this software doen't work on my Crescent with CM10 rom. (error message "application has stopped")

Anyone could tell me if the program works with another rom (always on ZTE blade s, crescent, SF II ?

Dont think so because 99% the roms hire are based on CM9 and CM10..Maybe it will work with CM9 and maybe someone who have it could test this ?

Hi mister poor lonesome ZTE boy (that's a kind of French pun :blink: )

The smartphone need USB OTG to run this software : I know that , on this post, Sven Killig did the job with the ZTE blade but I have read nothing similar for the ZTE BLade Crescent, SF II, S.

Any way to enable USB OTG on the Crescent ?

(Ican pay with my body or offering french girls, please help me, do not leave me alone on this topic, boo)
