unfortunately the method described at androidpolice did not work on my Nexus7 runnung on Jr8 :(

I happened to be rooting my nexus last night when the OTA update appeared...after rooting and installing OTA root keeper, I updated, however I now find things to be slower, Norton security stopped working, pulse news stopped working a couple of times too...hmmmm

Edit: seems to be okay, just waiting for stickmount to update for 4.2 :wacko:
