Built by Lenovo, Vodafone have just revealed their 7 inch Android Tablet. How does it compare to the Kindle Fire and Nexus 7?

Current known specifications:

  • Crystal-clear 7" multi-touch screen with a 1024x600 resolution
  • 1GHz MediaTek MT6575 processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • GPU PowerVR SXG531T
  • Front 0.3 Megapixel camera and back-facing 2 Megapixel camera
  • 4GB onboard storage
  • MicroSD card slot up to 32GB
  • Wireless 802.11b/g/n
  • 3G Enabled
  • Android OS version ICS 4.0.4
  • 3700mAh battery
  • Weight 400 grams

That's all the information we currently have available. We do know Vodafone are offering it for £150 on Pay as You Go, and for £20 a month on contract, with a £29 upfront cost.

One for the Christmas list? Or not?

Looks similar specs (but slightly lower in some places) to the WiFi Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, which is similar price at the moment with cashback. Intriguing thing is the "£20 a month on contract". Does that imply that it also has a 3G modem?
