Does does that mean I won't be able to flash roms as well in CWM. After I've unlock my sim would be able to just flash CM9 rom or go I through all the steps to upgrade ICS and flash CM9 :(

The only free way to sim free the G300 is to be on stock GB or ICS i can confirm both methods work. Or you can phone Vodafone or visit your nearest shop and for £19.99 they will give you a code to

unlock the G300 you don't have to be stock just need your IMEI etc.

Stock firmware = Slow as a turtle, no root,no CWM

I'm fairly sure you may need to be on stock to do anything with the code... I got my code from ebay for a fiver

I'm using cydas ics repack B952 on O2 uk Originally was on vodaphone uk. Got my code from ebay for a fiver as well. :D
