Guest StuMcBill Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Paul, I had an idea I thought I would run past you? Some apps (Sky Go) actively check for root access, so I was just wondering if there would be a way to run an App on your Nexus 4 / Nexus 7 / (insert unlocked bootloader device here), that would fully unroot your device (Root hiding apps like OTA Rootkeeper & SuperSU don't seem to work). And if so, would there we any way that some kind of exploit could be left when unrooting so the app could be run again and re-root your device? This would obviously be dependent on Sky ever updating Sky Go to work with anything other than 2 devices!? Would this ever be any kind of option? Stewart
Guest EddyOS Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 I was wondering the same as it doesn't work on my One X or Galaxy Nexus unless 100% stock (unlocked bootloader isn't an issue, it's just root access). I was going to ask Paul but didn't wanna bug him too much!
