Guest dakok Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 Here's the source for xiaomi m2 benchmarks: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-xiaomi-mi2-review I like that xiaocai x9, too. Only thing that needs checking is actual battery consumption. Strange that majority of interesting models has rather low capacity batteries.

Guest GTRX3 Posted August 6, 2013 Report Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) Found a misprice on aliexpress for the thl w11: http://www.aliexpres...1172011188.html The standard option cost ~£170 whilst adding a car holder brings the price to ~£110 Would be amazing if the misprice was honoured. Edit: Looks like they have fixed the price now. Also what are your thoughts on this phone?: http://www.aliexpres...1130195965.html Appears to be the Onn Tiger V8 and seems to be the cheapest 1080p display phone. Edit: For god sake they seem to have bumped up the price of this as well. Edited August 7, 2013 by GTRX3

Doubt it'd be honoured though (EDIT: no option of paying with PayPal, so I think I'll give it a miss) Noticed a Cubot GT99 on eBay located in England with BIN of £118 - think I'll finally decide on that today and make the plunge. If I don't I'll keep going around in circles forever. Have looked at Jiayu G3S, Vowney V5, Cubot One, Tengda T94 but feel a bit safer purchasing from a UK-based seller on eBay. Guest dakok Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) If you are aiming at cheapest phones, check haier w910, too http://mobile.pconline.com.cn/review/solo/1207/2873329_all.html Edited August 7, 2013 by dakok
Guest yaqh Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 If you are aiming at cheapest phones, check haier w910, too http://mobile.pconli...873329_all.html looks good but small battery.
Guest dakok Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 So many phones with batteries whose capacity seems to be inadequate. Even cubot gt99 could be faking capacity if we consider it's actually xyz x1 phone.
Guest kyan31 Posted August 7, 2013 Report Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) Samsung Galaxy S4 1:1 Replica: www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=644646 Its the first replica I have seen which actually looks like the real thing. Every detail is just like the S4 right down to the box, accessories, and even the manual. Edited August 7, 2013 by kyan31

Guest Armadillo1 Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Whats the difference between Jiayu G4 and G3S? Seems to have the same cpu and G3S can be had for around 165 dollars which makes it very attractive. deadonthestairs - did you buy a Cubot GT99? I noticed his inventory has gone up and down a bit the last couple of days. Let me know what you think of it .

Like you I have been contemplating the Cubot GT99 for a while now. Ordered last night from the ebay uk shipper and just had shipping notification (Royal Mail) so will have it in a couple of days. Interestingly the paypal receipt came up as Pandawill. I think they are a Chinese web supplier but the GT99 stock is in London. Most of the other stuff they have on ebay ships from China. Looking forward to seeing what it is like.

Guest Sere83 Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) That wallpaper on the Xiaocai CM9 build is sweet, anyone know where I can get it? Someone I know is looking to buy a cheap china phone. Was thinking of advising him on the Xiaocai x9, the Amoi N828 or the iOcean X7. There seems to be a slight lack of cheap 720P MTK phones that don't look like crap or clones. Wish the xioami Red Rice had wcdma would have been perfect. I still think for the money the V5 cant be beaten, the battery is amazing too, just wish the bloody GPS worked. Also been having a few freezes recently. Its kind of annoying the V5 will never see a highly optimized rom like cyanogen etc, dont think MIUI will support it officially either. Edited August 9, 2013 by Sere83
Guest dakok Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Advise him Qualcomm quad core phone. Scores a bit less on antutu, prices are $160-200. GPS works as it should... Most of them use 900/2100MHz on 3g.
Guest tillaz Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 anyone bought from http://dealsprime.com/
