were you able to track that with HK post? if so what was the site you used? im not having much luck tracking my item with them

I was given a tracking number for the HK site. This didn't appear as trackable after I was put through to the UK Parcelforce system for around a week after my order was placed. However, the package did appear trackable (via the Parcelforce web site) after it had entered the UK.

My F1 was shipped directly by FAEA so I didn't use Merimobiles or one of the other merchants and don't know how they operate.

You have many choices. Right now I am using zopo zp950 plus which is 5.7 inches and is having excellent performance. I am having it for more than 4 months without any issues. There are other companies also making more than 5 inches phones. Like Goophone, Star and orient etc. Google it and whatever you like, buy it.

Sorry mate... I don't know about any phone with dual wcdma sims...

I don't think any dual WCDMA phones exist at present, do they?

I seem to remember reading somewhere recently that dual-WCDMA devices are probably due to be released soon but they aren't quite here yet.

In 2 weeks time they have to ship the order and then another 15 days to 60 days for shipment by China post. So if they don't ship in 2 weeks time then we can put a dispute. We also don't know what we will receive in our parcels? May be just empty parcels... Hahahaha

Bought my Haier W910 from China buye on 18.08.2013. Dispatched on 24.08.2013 with a tracking number. A week later the number is still unknown by any tracking site. Guess thats how it goes with China shopping.

ive installed Rom Manger and tried to flash the img via the recovery setup but no joy, do i have to use fastboot to flash it.

Ive always bought phones with a community following and have just followed someones instructions.

Ive also got a zip is it just a case of running the bat file?

don't use rom manager its does not support mtk devices, if you have root you can use this app to flash the recovery.img

add the .img to the root of your sdcard then from the app select the "update recovery" option

theres the root of the device and sdcard0 and sdcard1 listed and ive put the img file on both sdcard entries but no update.

i think i give up. myintention was to backup therom.

You and me both Franky. Heard good reports about GPS ( my main worry ) about getting a fast lock and 3m accuracy :)

Think I read the same about gps! The xda thread I think? So the only downsides I've read so far is awful Cai Os but MIUI or Lewa will fix that. And no notification led or button back lights... Something that doesn't bother me in the slightest I use an iPhone as my main phone which has neither!

Just found a link to mtk6589 root tool and drivers should work for Xiaocai x9 too!
