Guest elrond_bs Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Great News. :) I was wrong too, to think there won't be a newer Android for Blade. KonstaT does it again. :P
Guest Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Konsta can you do what you did the last time you released a ROM? can you modify s2e to work with api level 17? thanks :)
Guest andr0idbeliev3r Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Very nice! Ganster, its time for you to port the video playback to 4.2 too ! :P
Guest KonstaT Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 konstat any rom for blade 3???? If I had the device... Selection of available non-Nokia devices is quite small here in Finland. Blade III is actually one of the very few bargain devices available here (costs ~150€). I'm still eyeing out availability/pricing on Nexus 4 (currently unavailable, costs ~600€). Not much dev work needed on a Nexus so Blade III might be a fun dev toy anyway. ;) Konsta can you do what you did the last time you released a ROM? can you modify s2e to work with api level 17? thanks :) Sure, I already did that some time ago. Use with caution, I can't guarantee that everything will work as it should. I lost all my apps once and I haven't used it since (I was messing with multi-user support at that time so it might have been something related to that). Rename .zip -> .apk. s2e-jb42.zip

Thanks :) Edited December 21, 2012 by Guest
Guest Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I ducking hate my carrier, I don't have a data plan and when I flash a new ROM it always takes 1€ from my pre-paid plan, is there anyway I can counter this? (Besides removing the SIM card, which is obvious but in this ROM if you take the SIM card off it's really slow, I'm going to look into the RIL sauce.)
Guest bezerra Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I can't install s2e, and there is no developer options and perfomance options on "settings"
Guest KonstaT Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I can't install s2e, and there is no developer options and perfomance options on "settings" You mean s2e from the play shop or the one I just posted? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=android+4.2+how+to+enable+developer+options

Guest KonstaT Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 s2e that you posted, i try to flash via CWM It's not a flashable zip, it's an app! Rename .zip -> .apk and install it like a regular app.

Guest KonstaT Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 And what about performance settings? I guess they're also hidden until you become a developer. Read my previous post...

Guest KenBW2 Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Only today I was saying "There's not really gonna be any more upgrades for the Blade" It lives on!
Guest Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Nice surprise for the supposed end of the world :D Once again, many thanks KonstaT, I'll definitely give this a try!
Guest herzblutnord Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Works Perfectly! did just format /system, and have all my apps and stuff from cm10. awesome!
Guest reedo_17 Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) You were wrong Mr.lalit!!!! You are aware that tidal is developing a 4.2 for the skate.... And this is great news will try when my blade is charged! Edited December 21, 2012 by reedo_17
Guest Felsch Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Like all above... not really expected ... :). This does make me wonder tho, how much work(time) did this cost to realize ? anyways, great job KonstaT. I'll be downloading some rom now :)

Guest peetu20 Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 Amazing. I cant never believe how is it possible to make our blade so good phone! Will try immidiately! Thanks KonstaT
Guest Posted December 22, 2012 Report Posted December 22, 2012 Konstat, if people chipped in together to get you the £40 Alactel OT-983 (1ghz broadcom chip), 512mb ram, 512mb rom, 2gb microsd would you make a custom rom for it? It comes with android 2.3.7. I'm sure someone could post it to you from the UK.
Guest kr0m Posted December 22, 2012 Report Posted December 22, 2012 For me Its the most fast rom ever. Thanks KonstaT.
Guest sssingletrack Posted December 22, 2012 Report Posted December 22, 2012 No way! I've got a Huawei G300 for christmas and you bring out 4.2.1 for the blade!
