thanks for the info

tried gparted but it wil not format the sd

somehow during install,the sd is write protected

have tried everything eles and most partition manager program

to format but the sd is still write protected.

is this due to the rom or something else?

anyone has any ideas?

well, i think we need driver updates^^ want to use the flash for the camera and teamspeak and a lot of more stuff. anything else can be like now^^ works fine =) just the driver stuff is not the yellow of the egg ;)

Yeah, really funny to read how he is trying to fix this and that while asking for help via PM every day :) People that are not able at least to locate and use relevant commits on my github shouldn't really be building roms :)

And claiming PJ2 is not mature yet is funny, too. Especially when both roms use the same low-level base so they are basically equal regarding subsystem functionality and stability.

Just to add to this, 1 year ago I got my first android device, the Orange Monte Carlo. At first, I didn't even know what clockworkmod was or what rooting meant. I've had to learn like you.

Just search around google and xda, there's plenty of tutorials out there, granted they are mostly in English, but if you need a translation, then just ask.

just an update

my sd card after upgrade to the rom is locked.

i cannot format at all with the skate,xp or win7.

when i try to delete the files manually,it deletes on the pc

but when i insert it back to the skate the files are still there.

just want to know what is the problem and why did it occur

due to the rom install.

anyone else has this problem when upgrading to this rom?

That's not a ROM related issue. Your sdcard is just fried.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last week (different ROM, different device). I'm just glad that flash storage is cheap nowadays.

I admit translator plays certain role in here, too, but I have a feeling people over there somehow take advantage of somebody else's hard work without bothering to do something on their own like searching for information and using it properly. They are credited for something somebody else served on the plate for them.When somebody takes the rom to further improve it it is expected to ask for a permission of dev that created it. And also I suppose it would be appropriate at least to share the final results. People here at Skate's mother-forum deserve it.

I really don't want to make enemies. I just want things to be done right.

This is also very true of most 'local' Android enthusiast forums. Android Srbija's moderators are egoistic idiots who get off on the fact that they're constantly being thanked for providing tutorials and guides, when in reality they're just translating them. I'm sure many of you are aware of the XDA moderator stereotype, the 'lol noob go read all 60 pages before asking a question" one. Well, these people are pretty much like that, if not worse.

will reflashing the rom so many times affect the system?

i may have done it more than 10 times already after trying to install

the latest trebuchet launcher with no luck i must say!!

afternoon. you just need to flash the zip that I posted above to put the original systemui apk back as it was before you flashed the blue apk, you don't need to reflash the whole rom again :)

overflashing the system won't hurt it, all it will do is overwrite what's there. :)
